This place offers tasty Chinese food. The decor is not so great, very simple dining tables and chairs, perhaps not the cleanest, but great food nevertheless. I had a beef fried rice which was great. A long while ago I had beef in black bean sauce which was a bit salty. Overall, a bit expensive, compared to some other cheaper eats in Newtown, but the big portions might explain the cost.

Good food for cheap. Not a place you'd go for atmosphere, but a quick bite to eat if you're truly hungry. Big portions, mostly under $15. Would reccomend

Cheap and easy Chinese food - always great value for money. Restaurant itself is really simple but has heaps of seating. Recommend the combination wonton noodle soup and the bok choy in oyster sauce.

This is a quick and easy, tasty option when you want to eat out without breaking the bank. It's licensed, so you can sit and chat for a while with friends. You might eventually finish your Laksa if you stay long enough~ these are generous serves dished out with fast and friendly service.

Great cheap eat where you can get a nice mix of different chinese dishes. Nice and tasty, not the best chinese food out there but for a quick lunch meal its highly recommended. The staff are friendly, the store is quite large and there are generally plenty of seats.
