I'm not usually one to write a review but I felt compelled to share my poor experience with Golden Plateau in the hopes that it might save some other poor sap. The restaurant is located in Collaroy and I ordered home delivery for Narrabeen. Albeit, it was a Friday night and I was helpfully informed by the lady who took my order on the phone that it would take an hour to arrive. Imagine my surprise, when the distance is no more than 5 minutes drive in heavy traffic, it took 2 hours to arrive, only to find the food cold and average at best. I phoned the restaurant twice to find out where my order was, politely; only to be yelled at by the extremely rude woman manning the phones that evening. It was not an unreasonable request to ask her to phone the driver for an ETA. Sadly met with more hostility. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

We order from this restaurant at least once a month. Good portions of meat in the dishes and as with most Chinese restaurants a good serving of onion. They have the meals ready in time they say it will take and it is always piping hot.
