This is a no fuss restaurant. Just go in & take a seat anywhere. The server who was also the cashier would come to you quickly. I ordered their Special Fried Rice. The portion was big, more than enough for one person. It got every ingredient a fried rice should have to taste great. A very satisfying & filling experience that came with free hot tea.

Approximate cost: $9

If you like tasty dishes, cheap menu & big portions, you must go to Golden Fang in groups of 3 persons upwards. Go early & you should get a table in their extended dining room. I recommend Shandong Chicken, Seafood Tofu Hotpot & Chinese Broccoli. Hot tea & rice are free flow. Very filling & satisfying.

Went here for a special occasion, and although it's a bit of pain to wait for a table (i understand you can make bookings now though) this place was great. The biodynamic eggs were my pick though we found the duck with orange a little sweet, it was still great.Fairly good priced considering the location and the service! The Food is amazing - especially the duck! It is a great place for fine dining, with a great atmosphere! It is the place to visit when visiting Sydney.

I absolutely like golden fang! This is the Chinese restaurant close to uni! I like the fish in chilli oil, fish in pickled veg, sandong chicken, Peking style pork, stir fried green beans, pork chop, eggplant in the pot and etc. The owner is from Hong Kong as well, and they have sky TV, so you can watch the Hong Kong channel while eating! The price is good and portion is big, I normally bring the leftover for lunch the next day.

Always a pleasure. When I was living in Chippendale 6-7 years ago this was my local chinese restaurant. The portions are big, the prices are fantastic (lots of studnets frequent this place) and the food is delicious. To my knowledge I don't think their prices have changed much since then. I don't come so often now as I live on the North Shore but gee its still good. What I order: Shandong (Xandung) Chicken, Salt and Pepper Calamari and their Lemongrass Pork Chops....mmmm.

Approximate cost: $9-$15

Good value chinese food that makes for a great lunch break option. Servings are huge and relatively cheap. The restaurant itself is lacking in character and quite cramped but the food makes up for this.

Approximate cost: $8

The food here is fantastic, the lunch special is cheap but if you go and eat with friends you can all walk out with bursting belly's for under $15.00

The szechuan is really really nice at the Golden Fang and its something i try and order as much as possible. They also make a good Ma Po Tofu and Sizzling Mongolian Beef has a lot of flavour. Its good for a lunch hour as you can get in and out with easy and you never have to wait long for your food. Definitely great to go with friends and co workers.

Approximate cost: $11.50
