We used to visit Golden Bowl quite frequently when we lived in Carlingford but even though we have moved away I still take every opportunity I can to be in the vicinity at dinner time so I have an excuse to drop in for some takeaway. They haven't changed in nearly 15 years - they still make the best satay chicken I've ever eaten and their honey king prawns are to die for. A very plain little place tucked away in Mobbs Lane, Golden Bowl Kitchen is well-supported by locals but it is worth going out of your way for. The food is really cheap for such excellent quality.

This is a great place to go for chinese takeaway. They open for lunch, I usually have the satay beef with rice or lemon chicken. Always consistant and reasonable prices

Great Chinese food for great prices. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes - all fabulous. Appetizers are fantastic - try the prawn toast and don't miss the spring rolls! They make a fantastic Rainbow Steak (spicy strips of shredded steak served best with plain rice). I highly recommend you try this great little CHinese restaurant - dine in or take away with friendly delivery service also available. Don't forget the prawn chips!
