The layout & ambience - Good ;

Quality of food - Tasty ; I had the Burrata - Yum Yum!

Quality of service - Great ; The waiter/ess was very attentive and gave a great service.

Value - Overpriced ; well, it because of the location is in Crown - so it makes all very expensive.

What a place, the decor is so walm and homely. The place is huge they have these cool bench seats that are relaxed and fun. We arrive on a busy Saturday night with no reservation and they made room for us, no 40 min wait like every other place we had walked into. The food was " just like nona makes" so fresh and full of flaver. I will be going back!!!

Firstly, I have to mention that I absolutely adore the ambiance of the place. It is such a huge restaurant, with glass on one side so you are looking at people walking along southbank while you dine. Then there are all the beautiful cured meats hanging in the centre and the kitchen wish a wall of fresh breads. The tables are set up with cutlery on the sides, a very rustic yet appealing set up. The food is good. The produce is so fresh. I had the Spaghetti“Arrabiata” Crab, Tomato, Chilli, Baked in a Paper Bag the last time I went, and I really enjoyed it. Of course I asked for extra chilli and it was yummy!!

An authentic Italian restaurant in a great location. Their menu is fairly extensive with pastas, seafood, vegetables and steak/meat dishes. The meals were yummy, I just expected a little better considering the prices. My brother in law is gluten intolerant and found that there were only a couple of dishes on the menu that he could eat. Service was adequate, we were seated promptly and our meals were brought out in reasonable time. As the restaurant got busier it became noisier to the point where it was difficult to hear the other people on our table talking. It was a nice experience but I would probably go to one of the other premium restaurants in Crown next time.

Walked past this place so often and finally decided to go for a dinner at this place one evening. It was on weeknight and the place was not busy at all. I asked for a table for 2 but was asked to wait for 20 minutes even though most tables were empty. Another couple walked in 5 minutes after us and were also asked to wait. 15 minutes later they decided they have a table for 2, but instead of seating us first, the table was given to the couple who came after us. We went in with high expectations on service, foods quality but were sorely disapppointed. I ordered a simple marinara pasta- the pasta was overcooked, the sauce was bland. My friend ordered a steak and it was decent but nothing special.

Top end italian restaurant and bar.
steamed snapper is awesome.
Excellent service.
prices are high but reasonable for the excellent quality of food they offer.
