We went there around 2:30pm and they had afternoon tea sets. There were about eight to ten dishes to order from. We ordered the beef brisket in soup with egg noodles and pork chop with spaghetti. The beef brisket was done well and tasted good. The noodles was normal but good enough. The pork chop was good but the spaghetti was not very tasty. It was broken into short strands that feel like it has been sitting in water for a bit too long. Both sets cost $7 each and includes a hot or cold drink like coffee or tea. The hot coffee and iced tea we had tasted good and was not too sweet. It was not very crowded and the service was efficient without us waiting very long. One thing I disliked was while we were eating one staff member started using the broom to sweep the whole floor and going under our table. We had to move our feet or it would have got swept over too. In my mind I felt the air must be full of dust settling onto the food I am eating. Other than that it was an acceptable experience.

Approximate cost: $7

Came to this place since our usual Peking duck haunt was full. They have the same dish with three courses at the bargain price of $45.80. Comes with 12 pancakes (pretty good), sang choy bao (also good), and your choice of duck and noodles or duck and snow peas. Might try the snow peas next time, since the noodles were pretty salty and oily. XD Nonetheless, rather tasty.

We also had a side of wo tie that was somewhat disappointing -- also very oily. (something like $6.80 for 6) Nonetheless, came out full and satisfied. Good enough. :)

Chinese cuisine restaurant in the heart of Eastwood. Purchased take away and the servings were quite large in comparison to other places. The food was good (but VERY hot if you order a dish with chilli!!).

Its a nice restaurant with OK food, however the service can be slow and it really does get packed (so book ahead) overall its good for a nice meal if you avoid the wait by booking.

My husband and I went there for dinner on a weeknight. There was a queue but we managed to get a table after about 10 minutes. We ordered the dinner set for 2, which came with 2 choices of main dish, complimentary vegetables, complimentary pot of soup, rice and Chinese tea. The cost was $33+ but we thought it was good value. We chose the salmon fish head in XO sauce as main dish 1 and Steamed fish as main dish 2. I absolutely LOVED the salmon head! The portion was generous, plenty of salmon meat found and the gravy was delicious. The free soup was white radish and carrot, very tasty too. Good value for money paid.

Well I had a not so pleasant experience with them.
We were sure that we were there before some of the people who were seated before us. So we weren't really happy about it.

Food was quite good, but by the time we were having our food we were already upset about how others who came late were served first and we received no apologies.

To be honest if it weren't for that incident we would be returning back for the food. Value wise, they do quite alright with their set menu.

Yes, their set menus are alright with the price. Otherwise, I think the food can be a bit overpriced.

The food is better than expected, but you have to be prepare to wait - for a table, for service and for food. They do try to fit as many tables as possible so the place is cramp, and they do have continous flow of customers. It's definitely a place you should try. And lunch sets are not available on Public Holidays - found out after we set down...

I came here with friends a few months ago. They were very accomodating, as there were about 20 of us. They open until late, which is very convenient when you are just deciding spontaneously to go out. They have quite reasonable prices, but the food is average.
