Awesome backpackers in cairns,dorms are so cheap and really clean and secure.upstairs is the attic nightclub which goes off,is always packed and has many events from wet t comp to live bands,to modelling comps.drinks are cheaps,everyone's having a great time,great night out all all

Gotta love Gilligans for bringing everyone of all types together for a good, relaxed timeout.

once the sun goes down head upstairs to the attic for a bit of dancing and ejoy the lush surrounds, they have really decked it out up there with tonnes of antiques and cool stuff hanging every where to look at.

Visited this bar briefly but it was crazy busy and the atmosphere was great. Good party crowd and nice bartenders, there was a jelly wrestling competition when I was there which was not exactly my cup of tea but the guys loved it! The outside area was quite lovely and casual so you could sit outside and have a chat with friend while the inside was more like a club. Kind of the best of both worlds.

mix dorm is the cheapest one
girl's dorm is available, very clean, with toilet
bedbug free hotel (it is breach of law if there is bedbug in hotels according to Queensland law)
I enjoyed the stay in the female dorm. I was the only one there and only cost me $ 25
