Very professional, excellent food and my massage from Candy was the best massage I have ever had. The room setting was perfect, and I liked the oils Candy used . Highly recommend

I went for a massage today at the invitation of Mrs. Jilin, everything was great. Pleasant music, aromatic oils, the right room temperature and most importantly the golden hands of Cora made me feel great. I am very happy that in this series, people value and respect the peace of people and they did it very well. I became very interested in planning my leisure days with my family in this collection and even preparing a voucher as a gift for my friends.

I've been to Gillian Adams a few times now (usually once a year) as it's about an hour drive for me to get there. I get a whole day package and arrive as early as possible as there is extremely limited parking. Occasionally there is a treatment specialist who starts hard selling products, but it isn't often.
I LOVE that the day is organized so very well from beginning to end, and that packages are able to be altered to suit individual taste. On my last visit I had the usual pool and sauna with massage, and added a full body facial which was wonderful. The only inconvenience was walking back and forwards through the hallways to shower in the change room. It would be great to be able to do everything in one room without encountering other people mid-treatment. This treatment was the best of the day.
Their gourmet lunch is always exquisite, and memorable. This year they served my chocolate brownie dessert as I had a pedicure. I had the seafood platter on this last visit, but previously I have had a delicious steak. It's always cooked and presented perfectly, with great attention to detail.
I love having a hair salon on site, as the worst part of a massage is getting oils through my (very long) hair. It's great to finish the day with a wash and blow dry, and make-up services are also offered for those who wish to walk out fully primped and pandered to.
Yes, this is an expensive day-spa, but it truly is worth the cost, and the time really flies. It's great to go with a friend, and I've loved every visit so far. I always leave thinking about the next visit with great anticipation.

Approximate cost: $600

I had a wonderful day at Gillian Adams - enjoying a package bought by my workmates. The food was excellent and I loved the spa and the garden . It is pricey but worth it! My first visit but won't be my last!

Truly enjoyed my time here, service is wonderful and had a fantastic massage. Also decided to have a meal which was beautiful. I hadn't intended on staying for a swim but now I'm sold. What a way to spend half a day relaxing here!

My experience there was not a great one and I wouldn't recommend it to my friends. The staff I had were really rude and acted like they were bored looking after me. The reception staff was very rude even on the phone but worser in person. Really disappointed as I'd heard some good reports about Gillian Adams, but also heard some negative ones too. Maybe your experience there depends on what staff is the ones looking after you? I won't be going back. I wish I'd seen these online reviews before i wasted my money there.

Gillian Adams salon and Spa have always given me the most beautiful treatments, All the therapists I have seen have always been professional and kind. However I recently went there to get eyelash extentions as I knew the therapists had to be amazing since my previous visits had been so good, I was very dissapointed with the application, as soon as I got home the lashes started poking into my eyelids, they started falling out almost immediately and I had many clusters which were painful and the lashes were uneven on both Sides (more lashes on the left eye than the right) I did not use any oil products on the lashes and I was unimpressed with my therapist telling me after the application whilst paying $200!!! That it is normal to experience itching- which is not at all true- the itching is caused by lashes not being adhered to your natural lashes at the base. I would definatly look elsewhere for professional lash extentions especially when paying so much money. I will not be going back there for my lashes :-(

I recently had a facial at Gillian Adams Salon on the recommendation of a good friend who has her hair done here. I did not experience the hair dressing section however my initial impression of the beauty section was less then impressive so I wont be heading back to try their services. Firstly I was left with a sour taste in my mouth after hearing some of the beauty therapists discussing (in a far from complimentary tone) other staff members in clear ear shot of myself and other customers. Then after running 20 minutes late, my 50 minute $180 facial only lasted 40 minutes, with the therapist leaving the room for around 10 minutes while my mask was on... For the price paid a massage may have been nice while the mask was on?? Just saying!!

Late 2012 I had a massage. It was ok, the treatment room was too cold. I was invited to relax in a sitting room with drinks & snacks after the massage. I wasn't made aware of any other services there. Probably won't go back.
