THE PIES ALONE ARE THE MAIN REASON FOR VISITING THIS SMALL TOWN BAKERY, BACKED UP BY A GOOD RANGE OF DELICIOUS CAKES AND PASTRY.
THE SERVICE WAS A LITTLE SLOW, SURPRISING AS IT WASN'T EXAACTLY BUSY, BUT IT WAS OF LITTLE CONCERN AS WE MUNCHED INTO OUR PIES, RICH AND MEATY IN A GOOD PIE CRUST
HAVE ONLY BEEN TO GANMAIN YHIS ONCE, BUT IF WE RETURN I DEFINETELY WILL POP BACK IN FOR AN ENCORE

This pie shop is even more famous around the Riverina than the Robertson Pie shop. The recipe is a closely guarded secret and the shop has been recently put up for sale at 1 Million Dollars (that includes the recipe). This is not bad for a little country town of around 500 souls. The pies are fabulous, the pastry great and the filling is awesome. The only downside is that they are not open on Sundays. If you are anywhere near Ganmain within even 100 Kms it is worth the extra distance to sample a pie, unless of course it is a Sunday
