It's great to have a local fruit and veg store as for a long time our only choice was Coles! Staff are usually very friendly and cheery. They always have very cheap deals out the front where you can often find a bargain. However, overall I find the quality lacking even in some of the higher priced stuff inside the store. You cannot be guaranteed of freshness. Avocados are always strangely hard but overripe at the same time and baby salad leaves are left out uncooled all day. Great priced bread, herbs and basic fruit and veg - good but don't expect anything too fancy.

The staff were friendly and helpful and directed you where you could find things but I found the aisles were too close together which made it hard to access. The fruit and vegetables need to a little fresher as I found they didn't last as long as produce purchased at other stores. The prices are competetive which makes them attractive to the consumer.

sometimes quality of fruit and or veg can be a bit below par, and i have found stuff in cold section out of date, but really these are very few and far between. these guys are true blue old fashioned green grocers. they are friendly, crack jokes and know their products really well. for some one on a very tight budget i find the prices REALLY good (compared to Coles, right next door). cheap bread
