After doing a years worth of research on box braids I was very careful with who I wanted to do them! Just because it's a lot of money and you want it to be worth it and last! Connie at frika hair was so good and also her employees! They had great service and made you feel at home! After getting my box braids I was so happy with the way they turned out and finishing them within 5 and a half hours! Thanks so much Connie I love them :)

paid $ 450 for matted/ shedding hair extension which claimed to be " 100% European human hair". Dry hair which doesn't hold any styling. Shop Refuesd refund only claimed they have sent hair back to supplier however refused to give timeframe or any updates with the progress. Very disappointed with the service and the quality of hair.

I've been to Connie many times and I always leave feeling gorgeous. I have very thick african/ Asian hair that most hairdressers charge a fortune for. Connie spends up to 4 hours painstakingly braiding and sewing on my hair extension and charges the same price, I truly trust her with my hair. I have been to many african braiding hairdressers in Richmond, Brunswick and Preston and they just don't make you feel comfortable. They get you in and out very quickly as they are over booked and just want as many clients in a short amount of time. But with Connie you are sure to have a good laugh and she has pride in her work and will endeavour to get it perfect even if it takes longer.
The last time I saw Connie she added extensions in my hair for my wedding and it looked fantastic, the pictures turned out perfectly. Thanks again Connie :)
