Price is different from store to store. You can't compare a cup of coffee in Werribe & a coffee in the City. The overhead cost is totally different. Whoever want cheap price, spend more time and do your shopping. But you can't find any better than Friendly Computer Services in the West.

Friendly guy, but parts are expensive and poor English. So hard to understand what he says in technical . I bought a 1TB hard disk for a desktop for $150 while the next day I see a sign on railway avenue display only $74 for the same thing. Only advantage is easy parking.

Bought two Windows 8.1 from there. One was sealed, the other not. The owner, Binh, reassured us that the unsealed one should still work and was perfectly fine (despite obvious use). We installed it and attempted to activate it (both online and by phone). The activation key was already in use. We called him to let him know and asked for a replacement to be picked up the following day. He said he could do that for us. Upon returning it, he had no more available copies, and attempted to sell us a Pro version for an extra $30. We took a refund.

We also bought 2x 1TB hard drives. They weren't used, but they were at the high end of the price you could pay for them.

We also asked if he could knock off a few bucks from the total price. Which he did. However, the refund he gave us for Windows 8.1 basically made it non-existent based on what he was originally going to charge us per item.

He's a friendly guy, open to talking about IT-ish things. But if he tries to sell anything with a broken seal on it. Kindly ask him to get one which is and save yourself the troubles.

Upgraded my PC. I believed new components were being added for the upgrade - however, some, were found to be 2nd hand - Limited english speaking skills, but very friendly staff and quick turnaround - a lil over 48 hours

Binh is a very pleasant and helpful man. He knows his stuff about computers. We bought a computer system from him and it runs like a dream. Being a little illiterate on using computers, he took the time to explain and then helped me over the phone when my husband made a mess of the computer somehow. I have bought some accessories from his store as well.
