Sadly Flavours of Lakhoum is up for sale and will soon become yet another mediocre Swan St cafe. In the meantime, it remains the best place to go on a weekend morning for a hangover-dissolving Moroccan breakfast, featuring cucumber, fetta, olives and all manner of other treats. The coffee that's spiced 'til you can stand a spoon in it is welcome, too!

This cafe is on the northern side of the street where tradionally all cafes and restaurants are terrible. However there are a few very special things about this place. Firstly and most distinguishable is that the first coffee you get has a portrait in it, not just a half arsed picture of a clover, but a detailed portrait that is amazing and every one of them is unique. Secondly, the coffee is pretty good. Thirdly the food all has very strong and distinct flavours (good for some, overwhelming for others). The staff are also great.
