Unfortunately I am struggling to think of a single thing to recommend in relation to this place. Every aspect - food, service, servings, surrounds, hygiene, pricing - is lacking in some small (or significant) way.
We ordered the split soup base ($15). 2 sauces ($2 each). The plates of ingredients cost $6 to $8 each. Note these are tapas sized plates, and topped with raw ingredients (remember food shrinks significantly when cooked).
The staff were a little inattentive (we tried to overlook this), what we could not overlook however was the way in which they conducted themselves (blank stares, silent plonking down of items at our table) and the way in the which the kitchen had prepared the food (some items were still half frozen).
The pricing is a little out of range, considering the food quality, service quality, surrounds and location (first floor hotpot cafe/bistro) in the commercial part of bourke st.

At here last night. Would have not known about this place if it wasn't for the Scoopon voucher i purchased to use here. The place is a little bit hidden as it is on a busy Bourke Street and you have to go upstairs to get there. First impression is that the restaurant was really well presented, it was cultural and beautiful. The food was a bit overpriced compared to other hot pot places i've been as they charged everything per plate instead of as a combo. The atmosphere was great and it added to the social side of what hot pot was overall it was a great place to eat. Our bill (there was 4 of us) came to $128, for me that was quite dear considering the many other place that offer hot pot for a lot less than that. I do recommend this place though.
