I bought both a kitchen and a laundry a few years ago - service was ok, quality was very good. Recently returned to purchase a much bigger kitchen with a few challenges - two visits to speak with Len (I think that is his name) about this, and both times he gave me the very strong message that he had more important things to do than spend time with me - I told him this on the second occasion. I certainly will never return there - very disappointed customer.

To say that they were hopeless is praising them up. Although we gave them detailed plans of the physical dimensions of the kitchen and laundry they managed to not take into account the architraves around the doors so that I had to thin one down with a thicknesser to be able to open the draws. I also had to do a full thickness chamfer on the right hand side of the architrave all the way down so I could open the broom cupboard. These people sub out the carcass manufacturing to someone who knows what they are doing. Unfortunately this husband and wife team are nasty and aggressive. Avoid them at all costs as they a/. don't have a clue and b/. are horrible to deal with. On a positive note we found their staff to be very nice

After receiving a quote from Freedom kitchens I was shocked that it was $13,000 excluding bench tops. I accidentally stumbled upon FlatPack bayswater and I was delighted with the ease and level of understanding of my design ( which I had had in my head for years). They arranged the installers, we removed the thirty year old kitchen, they installed the kitchen and my electrician and plun=mber did what they had to do. Now two years later I would highly recommend them.

Used them before for Mother in-law's kitchen and everything went well.
Went early 2009 for our own and our experience with husband (owner) and his wife were a nightmare to say the least.
Kept losing our details and messages.
Owner wouldn't detail what we were paying for. Provided us with a plan and measurements, of which Owner says he never does but did, so we could have one of his recommended installers come and check our measurements to make sure everything was correct. We did this and once measurement were verified we asked Owner again to provide us with a breakdown of cost prior to us signing a contract, to which Owner said he would but we would have to send him $50 first, which we did via computer payment. When we received Owners Fax, there was no breakdown and he sent us a copy of the plan he had already given us.
He wouldn't refund the $50 even when we could prove to him he had made a mistake. Owner's wife would hang up on us when we would (and I can say calmly) explain what had happened, it became more heated when we actually went down there and said to them that we would still go ahead if they could provide us with details of what we were paying for.
To say they were both rude is an understatement and Owner had to calm wife down a couple of times.
This is a true account of what happened and we will sign a statement to that effect, we were considering taking action but it is easier to lose $50 than days in court. It could have been thousands so we now consider ourselves lucky it was $50

Approximate cost: $4,500

Researching to do our own kitchen, husband & wife were both really helpful.
Husband gave me card for kitchen installer who I eventually used, we bought a second hand kitchen.
I have since gone back to study Interior Design, I would use them to source all
carcasses, doors etc. in a flash.
Very accomodating but also businesslike.

i do leadlights for kitchen doors for them, i have found there doors to be of same measurement every time no variance, so they are of good quality.
