We had been referred to Finessence through friends and it turned out many of our friends had also used them for their wedding (always a positive sign!) From our first meet and greet right through to the delivery of a final product and service, Finessence have been so down to earth, professionals and seamless.

We especially appreciate the relationship which has been built from working with Alan and Karen – you have both been a breeze to work with. We have no doubt in spreading the word on the fabulous work you are doing here!

I am so happy with the photos Karen had taken of my two teenagers!! Neither of them wanted to come and have photos taken – but Karen made them feel relaxed and comfortable and as a result they were happy which translate into the photos. I would definitely recommend Karen, we love the shots!

Alan & Karen Woo from Finessence Photography were the official photographers for our wedding day. The main reason we chose them over other photgraphers is because their ultimate aim is to have 'natural' photgraphy. Yes, no tacky shots!! They made us feel so at ease, with minimal posin (just how we liked it!), and snapped away every minute they could (sometimes without us knowing!). The resulting photo album was just amazing! It's clear that Finessence Photography really know what they're doing and how to get the very best out of their clients through the photos they take!

Karen & Alan also did our engagement shoot, and it was great to be able to spend some time with them before the wedding day to familiarise ourselves with each other (great idea, Finessence!). Again Finessence made us feel totally relaxed, and just snapped away while my other half and I used the afternoon to spend some time together in Canterbury Gardens! The photos were equally as amazing, with cute props and just a really 'natural' feel to them!

I would definitely recommend them to anybody.

Dearest Karen & Alan!
From the bottom of our hearts we want to shower you both with hugs and kisses and of course THANK YOU for being such great photographers! We are so happy with everything - from the engagement shoot, preparation for the big day, then the actual day and then assisting us put the finishing touches for our album. Karen your contagious laugh and Alan your sense of humour (which only Jester gets) will never be forgotten! And this helped play a big part in making us feel so comfortable in front of the camera!

Finessence did my maternity photography when I was 37 weeks pregnant. During the shoot, they always made sure I was comfortable and had a drink within arm's reach. After the shoot, I enjoyed a cinematic viewing of the session's photos. They were exquisite and full of natural light. I highly recommend them.
