As a nanny working for 6 years with a job I found via this website, I have found this an excellent means of getting in touch with parents requiring a nanny. Found another job recently too. It is a pity they are closing their service at the end of April 2021!

I am very disappointed with find a babysitter website and FAIRFAX MEDIA. They are cheaters and money eaters. They have overcharged me while failing to provide a decent service. 3 months back in July - I took a 3 month membership. I did not get a single application. This is because their job renewal algorithms don't work properly. Even after my job was renewed it was not showing up to nannies in the area.

I emailed them requesting a refund. I got no response. However, they fixed my job post so I start getting some applications. However, it was too late as I had hired someone from another platform.

I gave up hoping I would get rid of them in September. 12 days ago (6 Sept) they sent me an email saying that my subscription is finished. I was happy and did not do anything.

2 days later I was charged $200 for the annual membership! I have been on a 3 month plan since last 2 years - using it on and off whenever needed. They upgraded me to 12 month, WITHOUT MY CONSENT and the money was deducted straight away from my account.

I am so shocked. I doubt emailing support is going to get any response.

My biggest mistake was not turning off automatic payments from my Paypal account.

Please avoid this website at all costs. There are many other good options out there.

this was very hard to use ,it was not at all an easy site to navigate,i found it to be useless in my area as no one was advertised locally to me.

the site is very hard to use ...i tried to look for one in my area but was unable to find anyone local...i am still unsure whether or not i would like a complete stranger with my children though???

Find a Babysitter has recently changed the website, and it's really difficult to navigate and unfriendly. They need to reassess the workings of the site and perhaps ask the users for input, I don't want to use it anymore. It's unfortunate as this previously was the best site for finding babysitters/nannies.

Find a Babysitter is easy to use and doesn't cost anything for nannies and babysitters to join. It is easy to search for a job based on postcode and on a full time or part time basis. They just need to fix up their pay guidelines for parents which are currently unrealistic. And say that nannies start at $12/hour!

findababysitter.com.au has more than experience to take all responsibilities and care for the little babies. they helped me to take an important meeting which can impossible to be done on time without the ultimate efforts of the "findababysitter.com.au".
always prefer them for further help.

I am currently listed on find a babysitter as a babysitter/ nanny. I found this the best website out of all the babysitter/ nanny websites I tried (including we need a nanny, babysitters and more, chore heroes and babysitters and more).
It costs nothing to register as a babysitter/ nanny and any messages you receive from interested parents also get sent to your email you have registered with, which is handy as I don't log on everyday. Also it doesn't fill your inbox with unnecessary spam every time a new job is listed!
