Have now been to 15 twice and loved it both times. Food fantastic, great service and just love the idea of supporting such a great initiative.

We dined at Fifteen for our anniversary and really enjoyed ourselves. We did the 5 course set menu which was great. Everything was cooked really well and the portion sizes were quite decent for a set menu. The flavours were different, some things we had not tried before, but very tasty. The downfall was that when the restaurant got very busy the service started to decline and we were left waiting for over 45 minutes between our desert and cheese platter. Fortunately for us we were extremely full by this point and couldnt possibly have fit in a cheese platter so we just asked for the bill. They were very apologetic and removed the cost of the cheese platter from our bill.

Booked months in advance for a table at this popular restaurant. Although the food was good we were expecting great food so were disappointed. Their drinks menu was ridiculous - did not include standard spirits which ruined my night. Service was fantastic but would not return or recommend.

It's dissapointing but everyone we have spoken to about '15' loved their experience. We did'nt. The waitress was not good at remembering anything & had no idea about the wines. The meat for two was very fatty and hard to eat. The set-up was great and we saw Toby which was fantastic. Overall the place looks amazing but the food was very average for the hype & price you pay...

Went for Valentines Day. Was an amamzing experience, something I'd never done before. Was really a night to remember, the food is unbelievable & presented to utter perfection. Being that it was Valentines, it was a Degustation Menu, so there was no choice in what really to have other than 4 course out of the 7 courses we were going to have, but that really didn't worry us. Eveything, I mean everything was amazing. We couldn't even fit the cheese & crackers in at the very end...so I guess I'll have to go back for that next time!! Concidering this is a student restaurant, they are certainly being educated & are providing high quality 5 star food. Not a place I'll dine at often - bit out of my choice of dining - but a fantastic experience & night overall.

I wanted to try fifteen after seeing the story. I was not disappointed at all - the food was great and the service wonderful. It was even nice to see some of the kids who participated in the show still in the kitchen. Thumbs up for Jamie & Toby for giving kids a go and helping getting their life on track.

Mother's Day was my 2nd Fifteen experience. And again excellent... the service outstanding, very attentive and friendly. The flavours WOW. I first went when they had just opened and am very pleased to report the quality and standards have not dropped off at all - Can't wait to go back again

My wife and I had been wanting to go to Fifteen the restaurant owned by Jamie Oliver and Tobie Puttock since watching the TV show. If you didn't see the show basically the restaurant is a training ground for disadvantaged kids.

It was my wifes birthday so I thought we should finally go and check it out. The restaurant itself was very nice and we had a table right in front of the kitchen which is very open so you can see the final stages of food preparation.

We decided not to order an entree so we could keep room for dessert (my wifes favourite part of any meal!). For main I ordered a Zuchinni Risotto with Proscuito which I thought was fantastic. As usual with risotto's at fancy restaurants when it comes out you think it looks small, but because it is so rich you struggle to get through it. Definately one of the best risottos I've had. My wife ordered a Sirloin steak dish that was presented in relatively thin slices on a bed of rocket and parmesan. She found the meat to be quite fatty for a $40 dish and was not overly impressed with it. I thought the $18 risotto was much better value than the sirloin. We also ordered some side dishes of Olive Oil Mashed Potato (yum!) and a wam pinenut and spinach salad (not so yum).

By the time we finished our mains we barely had much room for dessert (don't know how anyone could tackle the degustation menu). We decided to share a Chocolate Mousse. It came in a tall glass and was very rich (I think they used dark chocolate), the crushed pistacchio nuts was a nice touch.

When I booked they asked me what the occasion was and I told them it was my wifes birthday. We were both surprised when the dessert was delivered with a custom-made chocolate "Happy Birthday" sign. It was a nice touch.

Overall it was a nice experience but didn't quite live up to the hype, however the table service was very professional and we didn't have to wait long for the food.

If you're looking for a romantic dinner for two then I recommend you go to Fifteen Melbourne and request that you have their sample menu. This is where you pay approx $90/person and have an approx 6 course sample meal. You get to try so many different things and will not be disappointed.

Approximate cost: $30
