Not bad not bad. They do good flavour with their sweet and sour pork. The place is huge, can't see that they would fill the place. But I just got takeaway so I haven't had a chance to dine in yet.

Not bad this one.
They have a wide selection to choose from and the food comes out nice and hot.

We have only tried the honey chicken and fried rice from here but both were good. My son and I wen't here for a quick dinner before a movie and we got in straight away and the food came within 10 mins. The honey chicken was really good and I liked how they served it on crispy noodles.

My wife and I were shopping at Colonnades and felt like some chinese for dinner. Tried to call our usual Red Gum in Mclaren Vale but unfortunately they are taking a '2' week break. So we ended up here, certainly wasn't any welcome mat! Really in need of some renovations and didn't particularly like the smell of this restaurant, but we were hungry for some chinese and didn't feel like going elsewhere. We placed our order and was told it would take 30 minutes. So we went for a drive along the beach for 35 minutes expecting it to be ready when we returned. Unfortunately not, he kept saying 5 more minutes and then after another 15 minutes it was our order was ready.

Upon arriving home, fortunately everything was still hot, but our meals were so very disappointing. The mongolian lamb was inedible, it was like they poured 2 bottles of sauce in it and it was overwhelming, couldn't taste anything else but sauce, totally destroyed it. As for the satay beef skewers, also a disappointment, where was the delicious sauce? The meat was chewy just not great. The spring rolls tasted the same as you purchase from the supermarket. The szechuan steak was ok and the lemon chicken acceptable, we still had to cut it into pieces. Just not worth the money.

My wife used the bathroom while we were waiting and her comments were not pleasant. No door handles, had to find the light switch and the smell almost made her sick, she said she had to take a deep breath before entering. So outdated and unpleasant. We will never dine here or order take out again.

My husband and I decided to pick up some take away and found the Fernalee perfect. With over 100 dishes to choose from we knew would couldn't go wrong with pleasing the whole family. We ordered the usualy chicken/beef satay skewers, dim siims, spring rolls and for mains szechuan chicken (my absolute favourite), garlic prawns (had to order 2, not because the serving is small, it's just they love it so much), also mongolian lamb and BBQ pork with cashew nuts. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, service was quick, ready in 20 minutes and prices very reasonable. We will be returning.

Have been here a number of times mainly for takeaway, but most recently my girlfriend and I decided to have a sit down meal. Once again I enjoyed my garlic prawns and chicken satay and my girlfriend the honey chicken, all our meals were delicious and the servings quite generous. Fortunately it wasn't busy so we had the full attention of the staff which was great, our meals ready promptly, drinks refilled. It was a great experience and we certainly hope to repeat it. I think next time we will try the banquet as it really looked good, but will definitely need an empty stomach for that.

I have never sat down for a meal here, always take-away. Not that it isn't a nice place to eat in, I just prefer to take-away. A must for me is their garlic prawns and quite often their crispy garlic pork with a side serve of the fried rice. I usually call in my order and it is ready within 20 minutes which is great when you are in a hurry or really hungry. Fast friendly service, have always enjoyed their meals, never been disappointed.

Fernalee is our favorite place to go out to eat up "the hill". Feels like there aren't many options to go, but Fernalee is a good one. They have great banquets, which are a really good deal for takeaway, but give you a very nice experience in the restaurant as well. My favorite dish is the peppered steak. The garlic prawns are very good as well. Honey chicken is amazing as well. Can't really go wrong with anything they have. Never had a disappointing meal there.

I can comment on the dine in only the take away. W have had chinese from here multiple times. It is always great. They are happy to do custom orders and once they delivered to me on their way home because i ordered so late. All the staff are very friendly and the prices are average.

Was pretty disappointing when we visited as a family last year.It was so disappointing that we vowed not to visit any such restaurants serving similar cuisine. The food was expensive, bland , but very salty, poor quantity of the non veg component in a meal. The only plus point was the staff, who were nice.

Approximate cost: $17
