This place has been around for a while, yet its menu is always updating, (unlike some places in Ipswich I will complain about in other reviews).

Great food though the main criticism is that the place is a little bit too casual, rather than having the right sort of atmosphere to reflect the quality of the food.

It would almost count as one of those secret little places to impress dates if everyone in Ipswich didn't already know about it.

This restaurant has been in Ipswich for many years. It is nothing spectacular, yet it is not bad. Doesn't really specialise in any type of food- just offers standard choices- steak, chicken etc.
It is very well maintained. No mess, everything is tidy, looks very elegant. Staff take your orders and provide everything, but not a lot of personality. It's like the owners have a 'how to run a restaurant' guideline and are following it word for word.

We went here for a work christmas party and the food was aboslutely amazing! The service was of a very high standard and the general atmosphere was fantastic! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Ipswich!

This restaurant has been running for years now - and the quality of hte food is still as high as ever.

Everytime I go, I try a different menu item and have always been happy with my choice.

The meals are all reasonably priced - you'd pay twice as much for lesser quality in Brisbane.

My only issue was the last time we dined there was an extremely long wait for dessert - and during that time all service seemed to cease. I wouldhave ordered a drink while waiting, but couldn't find a waiter to save my life

Having eaten at Fentons for many years I have had some lovely meals in the past.
I went for lunch with a friend recently for a midweek lunch. The lunch menu was only 7-8 options from $12-$23. We arrived to cooled water on the tables and immediately seated and presented with menus by very pleasant staff. From the limited menu I chose the Atlantic Salmon with nicoise salad and my companion chose the chicken roulade with mango sauce. The salmon was overdone and served with a miserly nicoise salad. Whilst the chicken roulade was very tasty it could have been offset with some greens such as zuchinni ribbons, beans or similar to balance the meal. A bit put off from visiting more often by the lack of change to the menu.

It is a wonderful place to go for a romantic night out. The service is excellent and the food and its presentation is decadent, especially the desserts. It may be a little expensive but you certainly get what you pay for and the atmosphere is enchanting.
I went there one night with a good friend and ordered the dessert platter which we shared over a beautifully made coffee. It was delightful!

My husband and I took our friends there for dinner last Saturday night. Our friends live at Wellington Point, Brisbane and usually fine dine at the Gold Coast so we were very happy when they said that was the best dining experience they had ever had. We were blown away by the exceptional service from Nick, Andrew and Caitlyn, food to die for (we had entree, main and dessert) and great wine. Thank you for a wonderful night which was even better because our friends were celebrating their engagement!!! We will be back.

Gorgeous food, excellent service, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere. This is a great venue for a function or for a romantic dinner. Definitely worth a visit for the food alone.

I went here for my friends 18th and she had rented out the function room. It was lovely we were frequently but politely asked if we wanted any drinks and food was brought around regularly. The service was lovely and it was a charming little place.
