This afternoon we had michael nguyen from fallon air conditioning come and serviced the air well ducted air conditioner.
I felt that the air con repair man was informative, polite, friendly.
I think the fallon trade group are quick to respond, thorough and willing to help. I like they have multiple tradesman to choose from and a fair home trades members plan.

Very disappointed with Fallon. They wouldn't tell me the price upfront (only "$49 dispatch fee" - i.e. just to turn up the front door). Then the technician turned up and told me the work would require HUNDREDS of dollars to even look at my air conditioner!!! Avoid!!!

Initial phonecall was made at 8:14am and no consultant was available but would call back. Didnt hear back till 10:11am. Thought this a bit slow as i had to be able to plan my workday.
Joel arrived mid afternoon and sorted the issue out relatively quickly. Good fault finding skills.
Also Joel rang when 5 minutes away which was good

Had Joel leslie out from fallons, he provided fast and polite service. Took advantage of the membership to get the discount. Its great to be able to get the work done on a Saturday.

Pretty expensive and a bit salesman techniques during first call out. It cost me $1600 to replace two room fans and an extractor fan. Work took about 4 hrs including pick up of new fans. Cost of fans was less than $400, which means their hourly rates are around $300 an hour. Was told I would receive an itemised breakdown invoice by email, but actually received a one line invoice for about 20% of the amount I paid, which seems somewhat suspicious.
