I booked in to Ellenis for an hour massage, dry body brushing, and a facial.
Irene, my therapist, is also the salon owner. After spending some time selecting the candle I wanted to use for my massage (the melted soybean oil is what is used for the massage oil!), I eagerly went down to the beautiful massage room and got ready for the body brushing.
It was very invigorating and I loved it!
Next up was the massage. As a massage therapist myself, I find it really hard to enjoy massages, as I find I am never happy with what the therapist is doing.
Irene was amazing. She used the perfect pressure, and her style was beautifully flowing.
Finishing off with the facial was magic.
At $140 for around 2 hours, not only is Ellenis incredibly affordable, it is also top notch.
Ellenis is worth a day trip. I think I would drive from Melbourne again just to experience some more treatment time with Irene.
Sure, Daylesford is nearby, but you are paying for the privilege of the suburb name there. Ellenis is better than any place I have ever been, and you can't go wrong for the price.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
