Food is pretty good but the service varies. I've been here a few times and depending on the waiters/waitresses the experience can be pleasant or unpleasant. Inexpensive so good for takeaway.

We visit this restaurant at least once a month and it is a very nice Chinese restaurant in the area.

On Sunday when we visited we ordered the shredded beef as part of the Chef's recommendation and chose fresh barramundi $29.80 each and to be steamed with ginger and shallots. The wait staff brought the fresh fish out in a bucket to show us how fresh it was from the fish tank which is the norm when eating out in a Chinese restaurant like this. The beef was not dried out and you could actually taste the beef inside the battered and sauce was very nice but I found it a bit too strong and had to have it with rice. Steamed barramundi was nicely done and no complains.

Service had always been average – no fuss, in and out and always try to accommodate your requests.

Other favourite dishes we have here is the Snow Crab which is very light dish with egg and crab meat. Shandong chicken always good and not dried, with enough sauce. Love the peking style pork ribs, succulent with lots of tender meat. Had the Peking duck 2 course meals a few times, found it absolutely beautiful. Once we had the duck meat stir fried with homemade noodles which I highly recommend.

Definitely one of the restaurants we visit regularly in Eastwood

Approximate cost: $15-30

I love the peking duck here. Generous portions (though the cutting today was a bit uneven..:O), with nice, super-crispy skin. The peking duck order comes with enough for twelve pancakes, and includes either sangchoybao or duck noodles, both of which are sadly rather average. But the duck pancakes are yum. :)

Mermaid's tresses also well worth a try at only $9.80. Crispy deep fried Chinese cabbage (sounds weird, but it turns out like crunchy seaweed), topped with pork floss and cashews. Slightly sweet, bit too oily, and great with rice.

Wo tie disappointingly starchy, yang chun mian basically plain wanton noodles without wanton but still with the same soup.

Ambience average for normal Chinese restaurant with tablecloths. :)

Quite an average restaurant but the value is pretty good. Quite full of the locals and may need a bit of a upgrade of decor. However the food is good and if you're around just drop by.

Busy restaurant where seating is quite cramped but the food on the whole is quite good for the times we've been there. As the name suggests, they are famous for their Peking duck which is good value. No complimentary desserts served here.

Some nice dishes and Value meals. Tight seating. Service are so so. Not particularly friendly and seems to be giving some body language to hurry the customer up. But I guess it is a busy restaurant afterall

Their freshly steamed fish deal is GREAT.
Been having them for the past daily dinners while on holiday in Sydney.
So fresh, yummy and value for money.
Other dishes are ok.

Peking duck is quite cheap here compared to the rest of Sydney, and the place is great with their 'afternoon tea' specials for around $7. However, food is quite greasy here and often you simply just can't get serviced as the place can get really busy. Overall it's not a bad place, but not the best Chinese available in the area either.

Approximate cost: $15

Great place to eat, i find the staff friendly & service quick. Food is fresh, always busy so best to book or wait in line. Try the steamed fish with ginger & soy sauce. The back private room caters for functions which they do well, i have had a few there, sits max 40 ppl.

Approximate cost: $15
