The main water line leading to our house burst (old galvanised pipes that had rusted through). I called the first Ringwood plumber I found in the directory (which was not Eastwide) and received a staggering quote for thousands of dollars of work. Moreover the plumber said this cost would only cover the first six metres of replacement pipe (it's about 12 metres to my house). He then tried to charge me more than the call out fee (from $66 to $200) just for 'putting his knee down' as I came to learn.

Needing a second quote, the owner of the house behind mine recommended Ben from Eastwide Plumbing.

Ben came out that same afternoon, called me with a quote to fix everything for half the price given by the original plumber. He said he could start straight away. I said go for it.

By the time I got home from work, Ben had already dug a trench from the fenceline to the house. He then came out first thing the next morning and completed the repairs by noon.

Ben from Eastwide was prompt, fast, a great communicator (hard to find with tradies) and did the work for a good price (as far as plumbing costs go!). Highly recommended.
