Still just as good as my last review from 18 months ago. Food and service is first class and I’ve never had a bad meal or experience here.

We were here for a late lunch and decided to share the market fresh fish lightly battered and the tapas share plate between the 3 of us. The tapas share plate was great and very interesting and the fish was just regular but someone was craving fish and chips. Maybe we should have gone to fish and chips instead as that would have worked out to be less than half the cost!

I'll admit, when this restaurant opened I was skeptical. I didn't think fine dining could exist in this location and I'm so glad I was proven wrong. The food is 5 star, like what you would expect from an inner City eatery. The menu is exciting and the food is a culinary delight. Fresh, high quality produce cooked with respect. I highly recommend.

We dined here with family on our most recent trip over. Such a fabulous place for get togethers. The service and food could not be faulted, it was exceptional. A very pleasant dining experience.

I went to Platinum to celebrate with family when I got engaged and no one at the table was disappointed with any part of the experience.

The food might be more expensive than other restaurants around but the quality is worth it. I had a twice cooked pork belly for an entree and chicken breast in bacon with spinach & feta, pan fried gnocchi with assorted greens as a main. The food was splendidly made and the quality top notch, my only complaint was it was a slightly small portion and I was left wanting for a nibble more.

The staff were all professional, attentive and very friendly. We had 5 children with us aged between 6 - 13 and the staff went to an extra effort to make sure they has something nice to eat that suited their less sophisticated palates.

I would recommend this place to anyone who perhaps is celebrating a special occasion or simply wants to treat themselves.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable family celebration at Platinum with eight adults and four children. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was excellent. Not the cheapest restaurant around but good value for the money and it's a great place for that special night out.

Approximate cost: $20 - $35

A work event held at Platinum was most enjoyable with tasty food and friendly efficient service. About 10 of us were served a variety of meals - 2 courses - and there were no complaints from anyone. The steaks were cooked according to how we ordered them and accompanying vegetables were fresh and not overdone. Chicken and other dishes were also really enjoyable. Generous serves - plenty for all! We shared desserts - again lots of variety, well presented and delicious! Highly recommended!

Fantastic place to eat! The food was tasty, fresh and delicious. 4 of us went out for a birthday dinner and were not disappointed with the meal, the service and the prices. There was quite an extensive menu - with starters and entrees but we decided on a main and dessert. 2 had steak with a potato and garlic rosti, wild mushrooms and greens. The steak was perfect (both medium) the red wine jus was so good I made sure I cleaned my plate! The veges were fresh and crisp. Another had the fish - also great and the other person had the lamb. On the menu it came with couscous but being gluten free she couldn't have that. However she was able to choose from any of the other vege combinations on the menu which was really helpful. She was also very happy with her choices. The dessert menu was really tempting - lots to choose from. We ended up with a sorbet trio - nice, especially the berry one; Bailey's Creme Brulee - great taste, not too sweet and lots of it!; White Chocolate Pannacotta with strawberries and Persian fairy floss - also tasty and just enough - and the cheese platter - which had a good variety of cheese, fruit and breads. We shared a Red - 2010 Tarrawarra Pinot Noir - very nice, thank you and finished with coffee and tea. All in all a good night with friendly and efficient service. Will certainly return for another special occasion.
