The East Empress had a selection of banquets, It was as banquets go, quite a good price for what you get.

Recently went here for a friends birthday, we had a set menu. The food was fresh and tasty, small portions but many serves. Although listed as Chinese it had other Asian influences too. Very polite service and a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere.

The staff are amazing and my family and I have become really close to them in the years. The food is brilliant and just recently the whole business moved over a couple of stores.

All the staff are very kind, the food is to die for and the interior is plainly just pleasant. I cant go to may other asian restaraunts now because they are just simply the best.

I have been going to East Empress for around 15 years now and have not had a bad meal. Dining in is just superb with a variety of choices, although not the cheapest Chinese however its worth every cent. The staff are amazing and always make sure you night is memorable.
Take-away is great too - we travel from Rowville just for it!

To begin with the atmosphere is fantastic! East empress isn't very big which makes it comfortable and intimate. The food is more expensive but is more than worth the cost. East empress is a great place to dine for celebrations - my family and I are frequent diners at the restaurant. Would recommend to all for a great meal and a great night out

East Empress has reasonable service, pretty good food, but is astonishingly overpriced for a Chinese restaurant. The fact that the food can arrive within 5 minutes suggests that there's no personal touch in the food preparation.

East Empress has been our "go to" restaurant since it was recommended to us in 2009. The food is always good, and the service is top notch.
This is not your standard Chinese restaurant; in fact we rarely see Chinese customers there. They generally prefer a noisy buzz; EE is the opposite.
If you want a classy, quiet meal with plenty of room between the tables, give it a try!

Ate here for the first time, Take away, really good value Take away pricing and good quality food. Good Portions good sizes and Great Taste. Eat in seems a little expensive, but overall good service and flexible Allergen Options without a sacrifice in taste!
