Drakes Food Market & Fruit Shed are the best prices in the Northside of Brisbane. We Live at Burpengary & do most of our grocery shopping here as the prices are so competitive, even better than Aldis. We even got swimming pool salt on special at Drakes. The variety of brands is very big, there is an isle of icecream only! The service from staff is attentive & friendly. But the good part is they are open from 7:00 am ,it gets the dreary grocery shopping under way early instead of shopping in the hear of the day. Keep up the good effort.

Living at Ningi, we don't get down Morayfield way very often but after making a trip to Drakes, we will be doing our shopping there in the future. We couldn't believe the quality & freshness of their fruit & veges, all very reasonably pricied especially compared to Woolworths & Coles. The staff are very friendly & willing to assist. We asked the Fruit & Vege Mgr if he could possibly buy in a special item for us & he said he would try his best to help us.
Well done Drakes...Morayfield. Give yourselves a pat on the back.

Hi i always shop at drakes. May i suggest that you also have a lotto bar. I thought at the end of service desk where it faces the doors. So it doesn't interfere with customers.
I don't go to the shopping centre and that's the one thing missing from this complex. Then it would be a one stop shop. thanks Wendy Pullen

I used too do all my shopping here when I lived in morayfield like how the got the lennards chicken there. And there always a bargin.. Some meat is great priced and it'd been the only shop I've seen that sell mini Dagwood dogs. And the kids absolutely love them.

Approximate cost: $60

I do most of my shopping here, mostly because of price. I like the lenards deli section and find their chicken prices are regularly low, the fruit n vege can soemtimes be a little on the poor side of quality but i find it is fine 90% of the time. I have found at times it can be very cold instore, however it can be refreshing during the summer.

Good quality items. Has a really large range. Quality of the fruit and veg used to be alot better a few months ago, not sure whats happened there. Overall a great place for doing the weekly shopping!

I love this store. My wife shops elsewhere and I am constantly on her back to support a small guy. I do most of our shopping and recommend this place to everyone in the area. My only concern (and one I had from day one when the produce was of amazing quality) is that slowly over time the quality of produce has slipped. Our local Woolworths and Coles have SHOCKING quality produce (I came from the Sunshine Coast where even on a bad day the quality was much better than here on a good day) and I was honestly surprised at how bad the fresh foods were in Caboolture/Morayfield. When Drakes opened up I was blown away and finally happy with my groceries but over the past year the quality is starting to mimic the competitors. If you are reading this review Drakes PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get your produce quality back up to scratch, as some of us in the area do want and expect quality fresh foods and dont mind paying slightly more for it are not happy with second best.

Wow, these guys are great, the only one problem i have is that everytime we go in, we need to take a jumper! It gets sooooo cold in there and I also experience headaches due to the low temp of the sotre. Otherwise, the staff are generally friendly, I love they have Lenards inside too!! I have always found my shopping bill is lower here than woolies or coles, and it is EVERYTIME I shop I notice the difference. I suppose they arent in an ideal position, but I dont mind travelling passed the shopping centre to get there! My average shopping bill is about $150-$170 (with nappies and wipes for babies on a full shop) where I would pay approx $220 for the same trolley at coles or woolies.

Approximate cost: $150

Great store for good specials. Their produce is very expensive and the staff have gone down hill since the store opened but I'll keep recommending them just because they have the best special !!!
