Being aged 34 and having had braces a total of four times, I am qualified to give this review! Here are some reasons why I would ONLY recommend Professor Peter Vaughan. His professional standards are of the highest quality. He is personal and approachable, and he explains what is going on every step of the way. He has established his practice in such a way that he puts his customers first: -he uses NON self-ligating braces (he uses traditional). I have had self-ligating braces and I noticed in my smile - along with every other person who had treatment with the same certain previous ortho, the back of the teeth seemed somewhat to disappear behind the front teeth. Traditional braces allow for a more attractive, fuller smile, to the extent that I can look at a treated smile and quickly see the difference. Apparently self-ligating mean the ortho can pump the patients through much quicker: shorter, less frequent visits. In addition I have had another traditional treatment (awesome result but as I was a teenager I stopped wearing my plate, hence the teeth moved), as well as fast-braces. (The fast braces were ok, but honestly not really much faster than traditional braces, and not as effective in my opinion). -he encourages his patients to use the ceramic braces, so to make them WAY more attractive while on, and hence as bearable for as long as possible. Obviously the sooner the braces come off, the sooner the patient is no longer the responsibility of the ortho. He reveals that ceramic braces are every bit as effective in straightening teeth in relatively the same length of time (I agree), and they are just as able to stay attached. I have a habit of clenching my teeth, and they never popped off, despite having heard from other orthos that it is more likely. I was extremely satisfied with them, and found a number of people had no idea I was even wearing braces. -he doesn't charge for the initial consult. What is with that anyway? Given how competitive and varied the options in the orthodontics industry is, I want to ensure I am choosing the best ortho and treatment before I sign away. It's the ortho's chance to sell him/herself - akin to getting a quote from a builder in my opinion. Anyhow a much appreciated courtesy! -he was very thorough in ensuring I was 100% satisfied before removing the braces. Toward the end of the treatment he proactively encouraged me to keep them on until I was comfortable with how everything looked and felt. -there is a very high staff morale in his clinic. The entire team are well-presented as healthy, friendly and very knowledgable. They were always very acommodating and flexible. -the facility is first-class immaculate, clean, tidy, well-designed, and feels like a flash hotel! A massive thank you to Professor Peter Vaughan and the team at Live Life Smiling, I am extremely satisfed with the treatment I have received and I totally love the smile you have given me! Keep up your fantastic work!

He is the most arrogant and rude man I have ever met. He treats people like they are something he stepped in. If he didn't have $6000 of my money I would go somewhere else. He is all nice when he quotes but once he has your money he acts like you are putting him out and treats you terribly.
