Amazing Obstetrician. Experienced, knowledgeable and kind. Definitely the one to get you through a difficult or anxious pregnancy. Doesn't have the ego that you find with some other private Obstetricians. Highly recommend.

Words can’t express the gratitude I have for Geoff and his team at Craignish. After being advised to cease having anymore chn due to the terrible condition my uterus was left in after three chn and three c-sections, I was blessed and surprised with a fourth pregnancy in 2020/21. I was faced with a terrifying reality that this pregnancy might not end well, and after meeting Geoff I had complete faith in him and knew that he would be the one to get me through. I had Dr McCallum for my first child this year and found him very patient and that he gave me lots of confidence with his manner and the time he took to answer all of my questions.

I started seeing him after being referred by a friend and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great Ob / Gyn in the area.

I have been seeing Dr Mc Callum for 15 years now and he also delivered both my kids and i can't reccomend him enough.
I had a lot of problems since i was 22 and each and every procedure i had with him was exactly how he explained it and every question i had he answered professionally and accurate.
His bed side manner is a bit out but he is such a lovely man and such a great gyno/OB and you get looked after so well its fantastic.
The staff at his clinic also are so super friendly and caring, i felt important each and every time.

Dr Geoff is fantastic. He may seem distracted and a little bored - but, he is very attentive and thorough when medically required. He has a soft side as he showed a few times when i had trouble in my pregnancy and you may even catch him with a slight smirk if amused! I prefer skill and knowledge over bedside manner. He will listen to your concerns and questions and then follow up on or give you the info and answers if he feels you need it. I would especially recommend Dr Geoff for C-section deliveries and pelvic floor surgery.

I was sent to Dr McCallum after being found to have pre-cancerous cells in my cervix. Though he did appear distracted, he was definitely in control of what he was doing. He quickly diagnosed me with CIN 2/3 and got me in to hospital for surgery within a couple of months (public). He was very comforting just prior to the operation, which was really helpful for me.
He removed all the cells, and after a 6 month follow up recently it was shown that they havent come back.
I'm pleased that I was sent to Dr McCallum and would recommend him easily.

Just for a little information, his practice tends to run late each appointment by around half an hour, and the out of pocket cost for me (Pensioner, with medicare) was only around $30 per appointment.

If it wasn't for Dr McCallum I would not be here. He was wonderful and really went out of his way to get me in for surgery through the public system 6months earlier than the Royal Womans. A friends brother wrote me a referral and whilst I found him quirky he was very upfront and honest, there were serious complications when I finally went in and if it wasn't for him having admitted me much quicker than any other Dr would I would literally not be here today. He does have a rather short bedside manner but he is also quite a lovely person. Not every Dr is going to be your best friend, they don't have to be but they do need to know what they are doing and be 100% honest and not fluff around. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Its been a while since I could put my confidence and complete trust into one person. For a second round of "trying" to conceive (after several years), Dr McCallum has given me a renewed hope. He has always run on time with appointments. Although he can appear a little distracted, he knows whats going on with you and makes the appointments efficient and precise, giving you a plan to get you where you want it. My next review of this business will be when I have success. I'm confident in his professionalism and opinion that this WILL happen.

Only saw him once, midwife at other times. Discussed me with one of my friends who went to him the same time as me. I found this particularly unprofessional. Hardly what i would call value and service for money, especially when midwives delivered our girl in the end!!

Dr McCallum has delivered both of my sons, and both times I have found him to be approachable, reassuring and provide the guidance and expertise required. He's a little quirky and quite direct but he knows his stuff, and answered every question I had, so I was completely confident in him.
