10 reviews about D'ough Espresso

D'ough Espresso makes great coffee and they sell a great range of cakes, pies, sausage rolls and other baked goods. My office always goes here to buy cakes for birthdays. Their whole cakes are some of the best in the city. My favourite is their Success cake.

I've unwittingly become a regular here--it's just so conveniently located, and even though the surrounding environment can be a little loud and busy, there's usually plenty of room to have a coffee and read a book. I really enjoy the cakes, and always go for the cake of the day deals.

I have only tried capuccino at this place. It is in the Westpack foodcourt and has very average coffee, nothing exciting really. You can order a variety of daily specials when it comes to food, but I have never tried them

D'ough Espresso is a nice little cafe with a great selection of cakes and a convenient sit-down area. I have tried the coffee from here a couple of times now and each time I have found the coffee to be average. The times I have ordered toast from here, I have found the service to quite slow considering there was six members on and I was the only customer at the time. Overall, the cafe is average and there is definitely room for improvement.

I've always had really good service here, while the coffee isn't the best in the CBD, but it is decent, and a nice place to sit and relax. I've had a few of the cakes, and the red velvet, while it looked amazing, was a bit of a letdown, as it was rather dry and not as delicious as some other places I have been to.

Worth a visit perhaps if you're shopping around the general area and would like to sit down and rest/relax.

saturday afternoon coffee and cake- should be a snap, right?. well.....We chose D'ough because it was easy (ie we were right there) and it was raining outside. They are in a food court and have a sectioned off area to sit. You can sit in the designated area for a surcharge or get takeaway and sit less than 5 metres away. We got takeaway, and it was just as comfortable. The coffee was good, but the carrot cake was stale. Thumbs down.

Approximate cost: $10

I am only commenting on their coffee here (only ordered take away coffee). Coffee is average there.
They do have a huge range of cakes and food there, unfortunately I am not in a position to comment.

Approximate cost: $3.5
