Bruce Donnelly and team know their stuff; they are honest; pleasant and charge reasonably - that's my experience and I've been a customer for decades. I live 300km from the Gold Coast which for me, is no deterrent to a thorough Donnelly service!

I have had 3 cars in the last 5 years which have all been serviced by Bruce Donnelly. When I was looking at purchasing a vehicle, he advised me against it after checking the car over, this saved me from potentially purchasing a lemon. I eventually purchased another vehicle and when I asked Bruce to service it, he took a look at it and said it was not required as he could see that work had been done recently. How honest is that? Instead of taking my money, he told me to come back in 6 months. I also asked if I needed a new timing belt which would cost around $600, he said not to worry about it for now. I don't usually write reviews but I feel I have to as I have received the best service from Bruce Donnelly and their rates are reasonable.

Bruce explained everything that he is going to do for the repair of our car, made suggestions and recommendations. I have found him to be very honest and willing to spend extra time to troubleshoot and help out for a reasonable price. Also is very knowledgable with most models, even imports.
I recommend him to everyone. And if you are a female that wants a fair go, Bruce has always been helpful and never makes you feel like you are asking silly questions.

Bruce and his boys have been servicing both our cars for years now and never once have I had a problem, they will always ring you if there is something extra during a service before going ahead with it. Bruce and his staff are very friendly and speak normally not car lingo so I always knew what they meant and they always knew what I meant when I explained the whatsy is making this strange noise! (obviously I know nothing about cars). Very well priced and there is not much they can't or won't do. Only negative is it is hard to get down that long driveway sometimes but persevere as it is so worth it.

Best experience I have ever had with a mechanic, as a young lady everything was explained, I never felt uncomfortable. Will use Bruce Donnelly again and again and recommend him to anyone!

Had big oil leak on my 2001 Holden Jackaroo. As this is a complicated Turbo-Diesel, many garages including some specialized in Diesels will reject to work on this. My "standard" garage (it isn't that anymore) had no idea what was leaking, they referred me to another garage, which rejected the Jackaroo and suggested Donnelly or Holden. Here comes the only downside of Donnelly they could look at the car for another 4 days. So went to Holden and got an offer for the High-Pressure Oil pump which would cost approx. $4'000. Went to Donnelly afterwards, they found the problem to be the injector pump which had a couple of cracks. Replaced it and it cost only $1'300. Car runs much better than before (obviously).
