I ordered a Binocular from Digidirect online. It was showing in stock but after paying all money I got email that its not in stock. Now I have tried many time to contact their customer service but no one picks the call. It looks like a fraud.
I am emailing them about my refund but no answer. Still waiting.

Disappointed is an understatement. I purchased an online order for over $7K.
All items were marked as ‘In Stock’ on your online store - I even purchased express shipping to get the order ASAP!

I waited 3 days to then be told that the items I ordered were not in fact ‘In Stock’. I’ve waited 1 month to have items dribbling in, after constantly calling and following up.

Part of my order was a lens. I have had no updates on when the lens will arrive. Will it be 1 week? Will it be 8 weeks? They can’t offer me any answers and/ or an apology for the poor customer service.

This is consumer fraud to list products as in stock. A). I have lost money in purchasing it. B). every week it takes I am losing money as I’m having to hire the lens I should by now already have!

DigiDirect’s misleading online practices has caused me financial damage.

The same lens is available elsewhere meaning I could have had it by now!

I’ll never make an online purchase with DigiDirect again

I’ve spent $24k with Digi Direct. I’ll happily take my money elsewhere.

In February I purchased 10 cameras, 8 cameras were delivered 2 cameras were not delivered.
DigiDirect investigation took a while but eventually they came back and said we didn't send the cameras and we will give you a refund instead of sending them out. A month later still no refund, we contacted them back and they said they will do it, then we received an email from [removed name] saying that the serial number was why they haven't refunded.
We contacted them again today and spoke with [removed name] who after 45min told us he doesn't know whats happening and we would not be getting a refund today.
After 4 months I still have no refund, this can't be legal? I have all the evidence to pursue this further. Please help

29/06 Ordered 2 products from their store, a printer and printing paper. I spent ages researching this printer and finally found this on their website (good price) so decided to buy from them. They took money from my card straight away.
02/07 They emailed with an update saying that due to your ordered items being out of stock, we have placed an order for new stock. It generally takes 7-14 business days for stock to arrive at our stores.

17/07 I waited more than 14 days and finally could not wait anymore... During these 14 days they did not even send me an update whatsoever.... So, used their live chat service. Response was slow and [redacted due to personal identifier] told me to wait another 3 days till they hear back from their supplier. LOL

I finally decided to go for a refund... WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! From the time I spent researching the product online, deciding to buy from them, then waiting for their services... I do not recommend buying from them, especially if you would like to have your products within a couple of days. The horrible thing is that they are still advertising that printer as being on sale and luring people to buy from them when they don't even have stock!

Very disappointing experience with these guys
Ordered A6400 which I have checked by online chat and they have informed me that it's in stock
Placed the order and after hours of waiting I have called the store about time to collect where they have informed me that they don't have it in stock so I have cancelled the order which I still did not receive any confirmation
I will not order anything from these guys
An apology would have been nice but on the phone they just said that they are happy to cancel it
Will post if or when I have received the refund
So far no answer...

Saw a lot of bad review so was hesitant to purchase from Digidirect due to needing the equipment quickly.

I emailed to see if the item was in stock. Received a quick reply confirming stock and advised to let the rep know once I had placed an order to ensure there was no delays.

To my surprise I received the item the following day in Adelaide (interstate from warehouse)

I would never recommend Digidirect at all! I was sold an item online that was out of stock. There was no information on the website that the Sony camera I purchased was not in stock.
After two days I received an email informing me that it's out of stock. I contacted their customer service asking for a delivery timeframe, and they couldn't tell me.
There was $500 cashback on that camera. But it's mentioned in Sony website that they will give cashback only if the items are physically with the buyer before 15th march.. as they need picture of serial number in their online redemption form. If the camera is not delivered to me by 15th march then probably I won't receive cashback.
In a time where most businessess are doing their best to stay afloat and keep a good reputation, Digidirect is doing the opposite. What a way to run a business. Unacceptable!

Poor stock practices for an online store. Their website have great prices but they don't clearly state when they have products "in stock" vs. "on back order". Super quick to take your money, but super slow to deliver.

Back ordered items have "no ETA from suppliers" and wait times can be incredibly long. If I knew this information up front I would've shopped somewhere else.

Having to inquire on stock levels via "online chat" instead of clearly advising customers is very misleading.

I have used these guys several times over the last few years and will happily say that their prices are good and if the item is in stock the service is ok. HOWEVER, they DO NOT tell you at the point of sale as to whether a product is in stock or not. To take my last example... I ordered on the 18th October 2020. They happily took my money. I then got an email 3 days later telling me that my product was out of stock and awaiting delivery from their suppliers. (7-10 days) 2 weeks later nothing. Phone sales dept. ... Very sorry should be delivered to your door in another 7-10 days. 3 weeks later still nothing. Another phone call same story, still no real apology. Its now 11th December 2020 and still nothing. So order cancelled and I have to start all over again. Having already had three jobs come and go where I needed the product and so had to beg/borrow from a mate. In short.... when nothing goes wrong these guys are like any other online shop but when anything goes wrong they are useless.

The ETA we provide is given to us by the supplier, so we can only pass on what they are able to tell us (which sometimes fluctuates). I do sincerely apologise for the delay. Here's an idea.... why not tell the customer that the product is not in stock BEFORE you take their money. Offer a back order service if you want but not telling the customer that the product is out of stock and then taking their money anyway is getting pretty close to theft in my opinion. I phoned 3 times and was told 7-10 days for delivery which was obviously nonsense. There were no return calls despite agreeing to phone back and confirm delivery dates. I have now had this experience twice from you. It won't happen a third time because I will now shop elsewhere. Your apology now is way too late and too little when I have been in touch 3 times with you over this already. Other customers deserve to be made aware of how you operate and they can then decide whether or not saving a few dollars is worth the aggravation or not.

I purchased a camera bundle online from these guys and I couldn't have asked for better service. Since then I have purchased other accessories from them and even when the value was low, an $18 cable, they went over and above to express post it to me as I needed it ASAP for a job.
