We would like to warn potential customers to be wary of Dial a Mover
1. We booked them on Tuesday for 10 am and did not arrive until 11,54
2. The staff member I spoke to had stated he would personally be working on the move, he did not.
3. The staff were not wearing a uniform or appropriate footwear.
4. The truck was unidentifiable with no company logo.
5.Although the client had packed and moved all her own belongings into the front yard,driveway and into 2 rooms, the move from Nunawading to Eltham took over 7 hours.
6.When the staff arrived at the new address, they were smoking and on their mobile phones whist working.
7.The client was forced to borrow portable lighting from a neighbour as it became dark and the staff were attempting to unload a truck in darkness due to not having their own equipment.
8.The client had to assist in unloading their own goods as some staff were only carrying a box at a time rather than using the trolley meaning the time x hourly rate was excessive.
9. Some goods were not delivered at all and client was told they would have to go back and get themselves.
10. Some goods were found to be water damaged, broken and missing but owner refused to supply insurer details even though they state they are fully insured.
11. Staff could not calculate fees due at end of job without clients assistance and failed to supply a receipt.
12. Fees charged by business were only to be paid by cash as stated by staff.

We have found the whole experience very stressful and costly, and it was explained prior to the booking that the client was 81 yo and needed to be treated fairly and professionally.
The site for the business stated they were committed to ensuring valuable possessions were relocated securely, that the staff were well presented and professional and that the company was fully insured. Unfortunately we have found none of this to be true.
There is a serious OHand S matter here and failure to communicate insurer details with customer to address all her concerns with damage, breakage and loss.
It has been a week since the move and no suggestion from owner to rectify wrongs.

Stefan and Jake were fantastic. They were available on the day that I needed them, were flexible working around a very difficult apartment complex with a tight squeeze and assisted me to pitch in and help save myself some dollars. They were punctual, had great service, hardworking and very polite.

They drove the truck to my new place with great care and avoided roads with speedhumps.

Stefan and Jake kept within the timeframe that we agreed on. He explained clearly his charges at the end of the day and was a delight to work with. I'll be going with Stefan again for my next move and will recommend to all my friends.

Absolutely fantastic. Stefan and Jake took great care of some very delicate White leather couches in a complex two story unit move (with a tight stairwell). Carefully wrapping them and also the communication between them meant the couches we're very protected. I will absolutely use them again and blown away by how good they were! Honest hard working movers!

We found Stefan and Jake to be punctual, really hard-working and polite. They took great care to protect our furniture and worked quickly through-out the day. We highly recommend them!

Stefan was so attentive and careful with our things, taking extra care whenever I highlighted something was particularly valuable.
After a bad experience with Transcorp a few years ago I am pleased to say I would recommend Stefan and his team for both their care and value for money.

I shoped nervously around after only ever dealing with inefficient movers. After speaking with stefan I had faith that my move would go smoothly. He confirmed the day before and was great. He and zav? We're friendly and professional , they disassembled my bed and numerous other things. What could have been a stressful day wasn't due to the best removalists our family has ever used. Id recommend them to anyone.

Great Job ! Stefan and Vince moved us from Brighton to Canberra and it all went well. They even beat us to Canberra and were waiting for us to unload ! Highly Professional service. 5 Stars !
