Coming out of lockdown ...Just had our first Thai take away from our favourite restaurant ! Been visiting Dhok Khoon for a number of years ... what we got tonight ...tasteless!
Sweet n sour pork there was no sweet or sour taste there at all. No sigh of the pineapple!
Peanut sauce chicken (satay) I think they forgot the sauce! Dry!!
Boiled rice! Can't go wrong here!
So disappointing ...won't be hurrying back there !

The food is always delicious, the price of the meals is reasonable and the service is efficient.

I did not like Thai food until I ate at Dhok Koon, now it is one of my most favourite places to eat. The restaurant is bright, colourful and clean and has a lovely modern yet traditional atmosphere. The serves are enormous, the prices are reasonable, the food is delicious and fresh and the menu is extensive. Service is friendly and children are made to feel very welcome. I travel from Sydney just to eat there.

This is my favourite Thai restaurant in Wollongong. We often get home delivery and sometimes eat in. The Red Curry Duck and Thai Beef Salad are my two favourite choices. Both have nice strong flavours and the meals taste very fresh. When you order home delivery they include a complimentary bag of prawn crackers. They are a bit slow with home delivery even though we live close by, so it is worth putting the dishes in the microwave for a couple of minutes when they arrive. They have a cheap lunch menu but the food is not as good as the more expensive dinner menu.
