Went with 3 girlfriends on a wednesday night. 7.30pm booking. Friend was late, ordered at 7.45pm. One entree....vegie spring rolls..........two serves to share.....no spring rolsl by 8pm...ok fair enough they were busy....we ordered at 8pm....4 mains....8.10pm one main came out........8.25pm no others had arrived. 8.35pm....apologetic waitress......'the others are cooking as we speak'. 8.45pm still no mains........the polite person who had waited was eating a cold main.........only to be told it was the resturants mistake and gave the person on our table someone elses order that is why there was one main on our table...finaly at 8.50pm.....the reaining 3 mains, the spring rolls and the roti we ordered arrived. COME ON!!! Are you kidding me. how hard is it to fry up some spring rolls and roti? at the very least throw them on the table so the three waiting had something to eat! No apology, no offer to deduct the spring rolls or anything complimentary.!!!! no understanding of hospitality at all. The food was lovely when it arrived. I had a pad thai with soft shell crab, the others ordered pad thai with beef, massaman curry and a vegetble curry........all were good sizes, great quality ingredeints Wouldnt be back, the place was also very noisy not great for a catch up, unless you go after 8.45pm when it seems to be less busy and a lot quieter.......The waitress eating her noodles in full view of the customers for dinner......not on.
They were doing a rip roaring trade on take away...so i assume that was part of the pressure on the night...but still.....with the wait, the lack of communication and unapologetic attitude of the staff..... disappointing.
