Prices are normally high in David jones, but I usually wait for sales when I can find my favorite brands of clothes, bags, shoes and cosmetics cheaper than usual (Calvin Klein jeans or tops, tommy hillfiger tops, shiseido or Elizabeth Arden creams,etc)...there is a long cue in front of fitting rooms, but I never had to wait more than 10-15 mins to try my clothes on...and shop assistants are usually helpful if you need different size (they bring it to you) instead of going trough crowd and waiting to try clothes again...

Took my teenage neice here, and we found the chocolate section finally, which was very highly expensive considering you can get the same item in another supermarket a lot cheaper than you can in David Jones, Finding someone to ask where something your looking for is, is Non existant we never found anyone to ask, which is very poor in my view.

Very well presented store. Great variety of merchandise. Excellent fresh food area. All major brands represented. I love the china section and skin care, especially Shiseido. Stephen, the concession manager is very courteous and helpful. Concession staff are generally superior to DJ's own staff.

I love this store. This David Jones store in particular is my favourite. I always go there for makeup. Despite the fact that the makeup is quite pricey, the service is great, and the freebies are cool too. ;P

i bought a pair of leather slippers from them. they cost me 110$. the first day i started to wear them the paint would come off. i took them back to the shop, explained what happened. the girls were quite helpful. they called the supplier. the supplier said that they had more complaints regarding those slippers. so i got my money back.

Very useful store, with superb stocking of a variety of goods. It can be a bit expensive but i usually go for the cosmetics there as they have a wide range with many options. Also, the staff are quite helpful and quick to react when you ask for help.

David Jones is a great place to shop, They had what I needed that was not able to get anywhere else, the staff are friendly and you feel like you are being looked after. It is what you expect because of the stores reputation.

I recently purchased a DSLR camera from David Jones at Chadstone and my experience was first rate. I bought the camera off a gentleman called David who couldn't do enough for me in ordering the camera in and then going through a huge amount of paperwork at his end to make it possible. David Jones will go to great lengths to assist a customer and it is a great misconception that they're overpriced. I would highly recommend them (especially David from the electronics section).
