My husband and I go there often. It is no longer a stop when passing through eatery for us. We will choose to go there. The service is always competent and friendly and the food is excellent.I only oggle the cakes but always have the soups - a fine range, beautifully fresh.

We usually only go here for coffee and perhaps a cake but its always nice. I've had one experience where the pancakes were all gooey in the middle and only cooked on the outside but they were happy to redo them. The staff are always lovely and are clearly all locals. Always a nice place to stop.

I can't go past their berry pancakes and ice cream. every time I go there with my wife for lunch, I walk out full as a fat man's sock. the food is fantastic and the serve size is huge. they make a good coffee and a wonderful malted milk.

Every time I visit this tea room, I find it difficult to choose just one thing, particularly the desserts, the cakes are to die for,yum! The owner has a family recipe for a sauce he puts on the side of your meal and it is just beautiful.
