After a 6 month trial of Crystalfix I have to say I can find no success at stopping any leaks. It was less effective than just using cement powder, which I'm now having to squeeze into the leaks to stop them, where I can get to them from the outside.. I've seen no sign of any crystals or leaks stopping. Can't recommend at all.

This is a product to repair concrete tank and troughs.

The process is not instantaneous but it is effective. A big plus was that I did not have to empty my tank and thus lose whatever water I had stored. A down side is that it is a bit messy and proper health precautions should be maintained in handling the product but I am pleased with the results.

After 25 years or so the concrete tank we had poured on site began to leak quite badly. Cracks in these tanks are common. I despaired as to how to fix the problem. I researched all sorts of things and tried to think creatively: would it be possible to put a plastic cover inside or sort of plaster it inside? I could find no company that offered any service to fix it. Luckily I found out about Crystalfix which is available locally.

Being of a cynical attitude, especially when it comes to the hyperbole of publicity for products, I purchased the repair kits with a I suppose I'll give it a go attitude but dreading the waste of $130 although Crystalfix asserted it was guaranteed to work, citing the Trade Practices Act 1974 that is the law for products to be accurately represented and sold as fit for the intended purpose.

But it worked just as promised.
