It was great to visit CYC as we are a sailing family. As our daughter lives not far away we were able to have a number of meals here. The meals were served in a timely way and were tasty. Great looking at the boats, some of which are Sydney-Hobart competitors. Our daughter is a member and as we are members of our own club, entry was not a problem. Once again the grandchildren all enjoyed it as well as the adults

The menu changes regularly but usually contains fish and chips, pasta, hamburgers and salads. They also do a brunch/breakfast menu which is great eaten out on the deck area.

I don't sail, but CYC is a great place to go for a drink and watch the sunset. It is right on the water in Rushcutters Bay and it is usually not too crowded. It is a club so you need to live over 5km away or be a member to get in. The food is not that flash but is also not that expensive. You go there for the setting anyway not the food.

Approximate cost: $17
