Crown of India is the Best restaurant in Werribee. The food and service was excellent. The entrée and mains serve hot and very well presentable. if you really enjoy Indian food I highly recommended to this place.

I dined alone there in July 2015. I was the first customer for the night.
I should have left when I discovered that the only wine available by the glass on the menu was the 'house wine'. I asked if it would be possible to have a glass of a particular Chardonnay anyway, and was told with a smile , "I'm sure we can do that." They could have simply refused, but the wine turned out to be a cheap cask Riesling, and I felt insulted that they thought I wouldn't know the difference.
Next came the entrée , vegetable samosa. The crust was thick, dark brown, oily and over cooked. Inside was just a brownish salty tasting mush - not the aromatic curried vegetable delight that one expects from even the cheapest of Indian restaurants. The main , beef rogani, was little better than the entrée, and the rice arrived late. This is the first really bad Indian restaurant that I have encountered. Don't waste your time and money.

I was not the biggest fan of Indian Food until I went to the Crown of Indian for a birthday dinner. I now eat Indian more regularly and this is still my favorite one to go to. Try the vegetarian pakoras - yum

Delicious Indian food and great service. Whenever I visit Melbourne, my family and I make the trip (sometimes multiple times.)
Nice vegetarian range, and the kitchen often takes our special requests. Great prices and friendly staff. Nice range if alcoholic drinks.

a very delicious Indian place to go. Price is a bit high compared to others and location is not the best. But can't complain about the food and service. One of the best in the western suburbs

Approximate cost: $20

The Crown of India combines outstanding service, great value and wonderful tasting food.
The menu selection is huge, there is something for everyone and we received wonderful service even though we ordered take away meals.
The staff are super friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
We will be making the Crown of India our regular Indian restaurant from now on.

I've eaten at a lot of Indian places in Melbourne and this place is right up there with the best... Whether you're eating in or getting takeaway the experience does not change, their food is top notch. Competitively priced also, you will not go broke eating here, but you will leave with a smile of your face.

Eating in the restaurant proper you are treated like a king :)

The staff are very friendly, polite and were not phased by 2 rowdy toddlers making a mess. The meals are fantastic and lovely presented. Atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner out without the kids!
