A small, independent family owned business. A wonderful, caring, compassionate &personalised service is provided. In a time when you need to place your faith and trust in another you can place it with full confidence in Damian. Nothing is too much trouble and although it is a business he makes one feel special and important. I do not believe the big companies do this any more. He is genuine and caring and it shows in all he does as he guides you through this sad time. Costs are much lower than quoted by the bigger companies and although we hate to think of money at a time like this it is still a consideration. Whether you have suffered the loss of a loved one or are looking to pre arrange a funeral I don't believe you can do any better than Damian Meehan of Crane Funerals.

Sorry Damian my review has been a long time coming, time slips away as you know. From our initial contact - through to the lovely Service for Dad at the church - you guided us with special care and respect. Nothing we asked was too much trouble. The Service for Dad was just as he would have liked I'm sure. We were all so happy with the way he was presented for his viewing as well - he looked at peace again after his illness. We felt comforted through the entire process, and you placed no pressure on us but simply guided us through our ordeal professionally and calmly. We can never thank you enough.

From the start, as a family, we were extremely impressed with Damien and his staff. They were professional, courteous and empathic to our lose. The whole process went without an issue and nothing was too difficult for Damien. His attentiveness and helpfulness made the whole process simple at a time when emotions run high with the lose of a loved one. I cannot speak highly of you both, you went out of your way to make life easier for us in every every every facet of the planning / funeral of my farther Tony Koutsonikolas who recently passed away - 3rd of June 2016. Nothing was ever a problem for you both calling, organising or coming out whenever it suited the family and it without a shadow of doubt made our life so much easier to deal with dads passing.

I know it’s your job, but you did it with compassion, warmth, sincerity and understanding and for that we are eternally grateful - thinking of you guys brings a smile to my face as I know my dad would be thinking ( "very good price & pensioner discount, I like it" ) with his big moon face smile Dad would say thank you to both of you and shout you a glass or two of his home made wine... Our family recently had a funeral for our father, grandfather and great grandfather Ferenc (Frank). We were referred to Crane Funerals. From the initial phone call to Damian and his partner John, we found them to be caring, helpful, professional and understanding of our needs. Everything was expertly handled, the price was very reasonable and we were happy with the beautiful service that they helped us organise. This is long overdue, sorry Damian. Crane funerals did a funeral for us in January and it's taken me this long to sit down and be able to write a review.

Damian was caring, professional and took all these stresses away during this difficult time. I just can't thank him enough. We haven't coped well with the unfortunate unforseen death of my husband but Damian was just so patient and empathetic with us. His many years experience was very evident and it was nice to know that it was Damian who personally picked up Scott and prepared him for the funeral. Seeing Damian on the day also made us feel at ease as it was that familiar face on a day we shouldn't have been attending.

Thank you so much. Life for us won't ever be the same but you made it a little easier for us and for that we can't thank you enough.

Brilliant service by Damian at Crane Funerals. He gave my nan the send off she deserved! HE was professional, caring, well groomed and punctual, unlike the last funeral home we used for pop. I won't lie we were hesitant at 1st as this is a fairly newish funeral home but boy are we glad we did. Damian has been in the industry for over 15 years so his experience and knowledge shone through. We could see within minutes that he knew what he was doing and good on him for going out and leaving a company that was going against his morals. It's people like Damian who put my faith back into funeral directors again.

We owe you a lot Damian and I know pop would have loved his send off.

I can not praise this company enough. Damian handled everything beautifully and nothing was to much. I know we were probably difficult to deal with as we wanted to say goodbye to dad with the most fitting celebration of his life. We wanted balloons, doves, butterflies, DVD presentation, little booklets to hand out and nothing was too hard.

Damian we later found out is an embalmer and made dad look amazing. He had been sick for so long that when we saw him he looked the best he had looked in 10 years.

If you need a funeral director look no further as Crane Funerals are the company you are looking for. Priced well below the 4 other companies we rang....... 2 of them made out the were Greenies but that was not the case from what we saw.
