This is the best butcher for SERVICE! My partner has a food allergy, and this is the ONLY butcher in B'go we can buy sausages from! Not only is that awesome, but they are happy to read all of their marinade packaging if we need to know what is in their marinades. They are never impatient and we really appreciate that.

There prices are excellent as well.

I have been doing my Meat shopping here for many years and have never had a bad cut of meat.
I find the staff helpful and friendly all of the time.
Theres always heaps of parking also has a few disable spots.

They have just completed some renovations and the shop is now much bigger.

When we travel down to kangaroo flat we make a point of calling in to this butcher. The chickens are good and cheap. so we stock up well. Their other cuts of meat are good too. The staff are polite and helpful. There is plenty of parking out the front.

Chicken is the speciality here, its always on special with chicken fillets with skin on never more than $7.99 a kilo. Bulk steak also available. if you have the money to buy in bulk it is worth the trip.

Honestly, I have only ever purchased meat here for human consumption on a few occasions as I have over closer butchers that I prefer to shop at. However, for pet food Country Fresh Meats are great! I usually do a big shop here once every couple of months and then bag up the meats and freeze them in the portion sizes that I require.

You can get prepackaged minced chicken carcasses, whole rabbits, sheep heads, turkey and chicken frames/necks/wings, chicken hearts, and other offal (liver, kidney, brains). It sounds disgusting but if you feed your dog raw I would strongly recommend purchasing your meats from here - they happily chop the bones to smaller sizes if needed.

I often buy chicken fillets and bulk meat from this butcher. They always have chicken fillets with skin on for $6.99 - 7.99kg which makes it worth the trip to stock up your freezer.
