Large American based supermarket. Sells discounted bulk food, clothes, jewelry and lots of other item.
Love grabbing a bargain and then grabbing a huge fresh piping hot american sized pizza on the way out for only $15.
Grab your trolley before you get to the elevator. Membership was $60 and is valid for 12 months.

I do love coming to Costco but mainly for the food court - love their pizza slices and hot dogs! Like others have mentioned its the best place to buy in bulk from groceries, to rings and clothing - all under one giant warehouse roof, if you have a large family or can share with a friend! This store is crazy swamped on the weekends so I recommend coming early before it opens or during the weekdays (morning as well) to get a parking spot and less crowded! I love the taste testing on certain products they have in store. Great range of products, great taste etc.

Membership is $60 a year (with additonal household card for one member of the family) and must be presented to gain access inside. Those without a membership cannot shop themselves unless accompanied with a member who has a Costco card and is added to the same docket ( as member).

Approximate cost: $60/year

Love buying in bulk and apart from the actual customers being rude and barging you or cutting you off in the car park it's fun they have samplers and its such a great place to buy lots of American food :-)

OMG, I agree--the customers are INSANE, and that carpark is legitmately terrifying! Great review :D

We do a big shop here once every few months. My husband stocks up on food and I stock up on cleaning products.

The meat there is great value for money, however I don't find a great benefit in the fruits and veg.

If you can, I would recommend going during a weekday as the weekends can get really crowded and you could spend at least an hour waiting to get INTO Costo and trying to find parking.

Membership is about $60 per year. For those wanting to try before they buy, find someone with a membership as it allows them to take 2 people, per cardholder.

Agree about coming here on a weekday. Even on a motorbike it takes a while to get through the traffic on weekends.

I checked out Costco for the first time today and it was an awesome shopping experience! The prices were significantly better than the mainstream supermarkets, only catch is that everything is sold in bulk. Costco have taste testing in all different aisles which my husband and I throughly enjoyed, we ended up buying some of the products that we tasted. We spent a lot, but considering what we bought, I do not think we will need to do another big shop for a while. I reccommend going early for a car space and to avoid the crowds.

again , the problem with costoco is that you have to pay a fee to be able to shop right?

After shopping at Costco, you will find Coles or Woolies are ripoff. But it gets very crowded here. To avoid the crowd, Get there early at 10am when they open, and use the carpark entrance on Parramatta road not the main one where everybody try to get in and queue at traffic light. I found that sometimes it is too easy to over spend here and buy things unplanned, because the prices are so attractive and you could not help buying things that you probably won't need. Having a shopping list and stick to it will help. Meat, cakes and pre made cold or hot dishes are so fresh and high quality. You can find all premium brands here unlike at Aldi you have limited options. Because things are sold bulk here, you may need to think where and how you can store the goods and use them over a period of time.

This place is good, especially if you want to bulk buy for a party. I got many products cheaper than what was offered in supermarkets, including toothpaste and toilet paper. The food is very tasty as well.
