a very 'melbourne' cafe given that the decor and feel of the cafe itself is quite homey and that there are heaps of vegan and organic options available, prices are a bit above average but worth it if you're a chocoholic

the hot chocolate is heavenly, and the atmosphere is perfect for a long lost catch up with old friends, so will probably be back again

Overall, i have gone Loco over coco loco! the hot chocolate is sweet and delicious and the choc mousse is to die for!! man i walk out of there thinking smiling and i love it! great service and even greater food, thanks guys for the experience!

If you love chocolate you will love this place, I always have the chilli dark hot chocolate, it's just so good. The only bad thing about this place is that it is a little dark and gloomy in there at night time, but of course that's nothing a good serve of chocolate (in whatever form you choose it) can't fix.

I am a self confessed coco loco addict! I have been frequenting Coco Loco approximately once a week for the past two years and have found it to be consistently high quality.

My routine usually starts with the beautiful pumpkin crepe with kashew cheese accompanied by a wine. For dessert I have either their dark chocolate mousse or one of the amazing specials they have on offer, last week I was feeling totally decadent so I had a dark chocolate mousse with a scoop of the white chocolate kashew gelato topped with a magnificent chocolate raspberry liqueur, which was AMAZING!!

Coco loco has taken my hot chocolate experience to a whole new level, since trying their chocolate with the kashew mylk, I haven't been able to drink chocolate anywhere else! At Coco loco they use a beautiful 70% chocolate not cocoa powder and sugar, not like some of the other so called 'drinking chocolate' out there. I recently went to another chocolate bar that shall remain nameless and had to walk out after drinking less than half of my chocolate due to the fake taste.

I have always found the service to be flawless, the waiter is always friendly, well presented and knowledgeable. The music is great and matches the high quality fit out of the shop. Its a great place for a date, and I even booked the place out for my last birthday for a great price with some beautiful savory food.

Excellent value for the service and amazing product, I don't know anywhere else in the world I can get anything that compares! Highly recommended!

The most amazing hot chocolate I have ever found! Try the spiced orange with cashew milk.. Absolutely divine!!! The crepes are also great and it has a great relaxed yet intimate feel.

My experience here did not equate to the reviews below. Three of us went on a Wednesday night hoping to be blown away but alas the highlight for me was the dinnerware dessert was served on rather than the dessert itself. I appreciate the high price for things organic and fair trade but I expect the taste to match the price tag and the brownie in a bowl left much to be desired. We also did not experience any 'passion' from the man who served us, in fact when engaged in conversation he barely sad boo. Good options for vegans, but this place was not for me.
