i like the food not the best but still nice, located in the toormina pub so not very family orientated as it is just a service desk thats it u cannot actually dine in. price is good but staff can be a bit rude.

Every person who I have introduced to this place has walked out of there a very satisfied customer. Toormina's best little kept secret located inside Toormina pub, the Coast Star Chinese Restaurant is not only great value, but the service and the food also make this an enjoyable experience. I have eaten there (lunch and dinner) about 30 times, and I have never been disappointed with my meal. It's not the type of place you would necessarily take someone out to for a romantic dinner (the small dining area is a little plain and outdated) but for a quickie feed or some take away, this place is in my opinion definitely worthy of two thumbs up. Generous servings of meat and a good variety of fresh vegetables in most main dishes. Service is quick and the people are very welcoming. Spring rolls, dim sim etc., all made fresh on the premises.
