I went with my partner and his cousin, thought we would try it since it's a newer place in town.

At first it's a little confusing as they have a different menu for the Club 'Bistro', where we actually thought was classed as the new restaurant at first, and then restaurant, which we saw after.

If there is things you like from the Bistro menu, you cannot order them while you're in the restaurant, but they don't tell you that.
We went up into the restaurant part, which is right next to the bistro, and one of us waited to order at the bistro's order stand, but you can't order for the restaurant there, you have to order in the restaurant (we also didn't get told that, we kind of just waited til they realised we were).
All confusing at the time. As we thought the menu's handed to us in the beginning were all for the same place. So if you go, just keep in mind it is two different places.

Anyway, we ordered, sat near the window looking over the water, and waited 40 minutes for our food, when we were the only people in the restaurant, and there was only 4 people down in the bistro area that weren't even ordering food.

I had the seafood platter, ($29.50), was okay, but not great, the batter and crumbs on everything was rather plain. My boyfriend had the 'Rib on the Bone', ($32.50) it was a 400gram rib steak, with your pick of sauce, there is mushroom, gravy, dianne and a couple of others. It was quite big.
Looked nice, the sauce smelt and tasted nice also.

His cousin had the T-bone steak, you get your choice of vegetables or chips and salad. I'm not sure how much his was, around $28.

When ordering your food and your drinks, (they send a drinks waitress to you to take your order and bring your drinks to you), that you don't pay until after you have eaten.
So try keep an eye on what you're spending, if you only have a certain amount you'd like to spend, in case you go a little over board.

All in all it was alright, if I stayed away from the seafood basket my thoughts would most likely be different, as both the boys LOVED their food, a lot.

So I would recommend trying it to anybody who is interested.
Just try not get confused like us!
