This place has changed hands so many times the food is very greasy. I wouldn't recommend

This is a lovely place scollaps are really good the hamburgers are average not very tasteful but ok the qulity of mkst of the products foods are really really good the staff are really nice my daughter and son elise and linden said what does a scollap taste loke and i said yumm sort of like fish but better and the coodked one up for free cut it in half and let them have a try and they lkved it so i really appreciate them doing that the style here is really clasical modern and the feeling is great

Been here quite a few times over the past few years and always good.
Late lunch yesterday and i side has changed a bit since last we were there.the Long old fashioned counter has now changed to a more modern short one. Shop,is still clean inside and seats outside are still available and parking in the street can be tricky at times.
We ordered cod,seafood sticks and potato scallops and drinks
Service is friendly and the guy serving us was lovely.offered to open my drink bottle as it had a cap that wasnt screw top,brought our order out to us
Service and cleanliness cant be faulted.drinks were cold. Fish tasted nice,large thick pieces.
Sadly the amount of oil soaked into the food and the very brown colour of everything,the potato scallop were oily and tasted just of batter and oil,the potato was very thin and almost non existant . The oil in the box wasnt good as it had pooled in the corner. We sat across the rd at the beach park to eat so it wasnt like we went home with it.
Disappointing as Id like my fish etc golden and thicker scallops and no oil soaked food.
I will go,back again for another day because they have always been perfect in the past. Might have been an off day but thats no excuse. Prices are good tho,fish n chips,burgers,extra for batter 50c cod was $7:50 scallops $1:30 seafood stix $2:30 and drinks jarritos pineapple and a coke $4 each
Place is usually good and situated in the perfect spot, great for lunch dinner or snax

Right opposite the beach,oarking is a bit iffy as not a lot on a packed st.
Have been here quite a few times and love it.always cooked right away and waiting times are minimal but holidays are packed and waiting can take 15 min or more

Clean ,lots to choose from. We had fish and chips,calamari and potato scallops and drinks.
Not greasy,large fish,chips are crunchy,calalmari is cooked perfectly ,drinks are ice cold. They do burgers and deals. Milkshakes are great. Seats inside and out.

Tried here on thursday food is really nice fresh hamburgers better than most fair price will be back again thats for sure

we come here for lunch on weekends quite often. on the corner opp the caravan park and beach,we usually take our food over to the picnic tables by the beach. always great fish and chips ,lovely thin crispy batter. always packed on weekends in summer. vast array of meal deals,a few fridges for drinks. seats to wait ,tables and chairs outside. i like the seafood basket,lots of little pieces to my liking. staff are always friendly and dont get frustrated with questions lol. great location

I haven't been there for a long time but today we did and it was beautiful. The best Chiko Roll I've had for a long time...nice and fresh and they have great homemade potato scallops. Would go back any day.

We have gone here quite often, me and my husband had lunch here this week, we got hot chicken and gravy rolls they are delicious, made to order fast on a week day, its nice to eat in as they have plenty of tables and chairs with a view of dicky beach

Burgers are execellent and full. They are so generous with the servings. If you order 5 potato scallops you get a couple more thrown in. Their chips are crunchy and they are served in Paper not boxes. They have battered mars bars and pancakes with the most delectable butterscotch sauce and ice-cream. Their fish is always well cooked and they offer chicken salt or no salt. They actually ask you.
Service is always with a smile even on the hottest of days. They are a very hard working bunch of females and deliver with a smile.
