One of our favourite Italian restaurant in Perth! We have always comeback for the spaghetti marinara with a very decent serving and value. Occasionally ordered potato gnocchi & tiramisu, they're a delight! You need to come early before 6pm on weekend (or even weekdays) coz people are lining up to get in here!

Ciao Italia is definitely my favourite Italian restaurant in Perth. I've been here on many different occasions and it is always packed with a long line of people waiting outside (be there at 5.30pm with your dinner party to avoid a long wait!). The food is consistently tasty (love the carbonara) and portions are generous. The tiramisu is amazing and is a must-try even if you're stuffed after the mains! The staff are friendly and witty, making it a fun dining experience. They are big on birthdays so you are in for a treat if it's your birthday :) It is a very busy restaurant and can be quite cramped at times, so it might not appeal to some people. But I highly recommend this to anyone after good Italian food and a lovely dining experience!

Best tiramisu in WA. Also really enjoy the pastas especially Fettucine ciao italia and their carbonara. Very different and festive atmosphere when dining in. Take away portions are also decent and nice to see prices adjusted accordingly. Excellent choice to celebrate birthdays as the staff really goes all out to make it a memorable one.

I'm a pizza guy myself but the rest of their Italian cuisine here is phenomenal. I really love this place and that's the reason why I visit it so often.

We had a mini-holiday in Perth last week and stumbled across this place near our hotel. WOW! It is, quite simply, some of the best Italian food I've eaten in my life. I love the vibe of this place - always busy, but the table turnover is very quick and the staff are enthusiastic, fun and fast. Everything was scrumptious, huge servings and decently priced (for Perth, which we found to be very pricey for food in general). We loved it so much that we even ordered delivery pizza from them a couple nights later on our last night in town.

Best Italian Restaurant in Perth. Their pasta is really tasty, so do their pizza. Their tiramisu is a must-try dessert. Might need to queue a bit during Weekend but it worth it.

I personal think this is the best Italian restaurant in town. The service is friendly, food is nice and large serve, the down side is it always full of people and so prepare to wait for at least half an hour for a meal!

Do you want value for money? Then this is the Italian restaurant for you. Caio Italia does huge dishes at a reasonable price and the food is so yummy you just want to eat it all. Their pizzas are authentic wood fired and the pastas are made fresh. If you still have room after entree and main then make sure you order the tiramasu, its devine. The only reason service got a 4 star is because the restaurant is so busy the staff are run off their feet so there is no time to chat to patrons but they are still very nice. With a queue out the door by 6.30pm you would want to get there early as there are no table bookings. They also do take out which is also very popular.

Excellent food, friendly staff, generous portions. Only drawback is the fact you cannot make reservations. At a recent dinner for 8 of us on Saturday 16 July, we had to wait from 5:45pm to 7:15 pm to be seated. Chilli mussels had run out by then! It is time to move to a reservation/seating times model. Otherwise they are going to get irate patrons and will eventually lose them.

What else can I add. Good food, good service, good environment, unbelievable experience every time we eat there. The long queue is probably the thing that I can pick on. But the wait is definitely worth it. My wife just loves the tiramisu. The vodka penne is very good.

Approximate cost: $15
