Came here for a work lunch and was not disappointed. The food came quite quickly and the portions were very generous. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place for a group of friends, but maybe not so much a romantic date.
We went there on thursday night and it's an incredible experience . My boss had the spicy calamari and I had the Mingus scallops. They were plump and juicy and cooked to perfection. All of a udden we appeared to be sharing! They even have an e-cookbook that you can download which I definitely intend to do. Well worth a visit.

Took a group of colleagues from the USA for dinner, had a banquet and it was delicious, fresh and a great variety!!
Approximate cost: $30
might check this place out! cheers
As you enter this Malaysian eatery you will be greeted by a very large Budda in the middle of the restaurant. It is a great welcome to the place. The atmosphere is always so alive hear.
I eat here a lot and everything we order is so tasty although my favourite is the chicken curry and roti. The curry has a great tasting sauce which makes for perfect dipping for the roti. The roti is always perfectly cooked.
You can not book here for dinner but it is never to long to wait.
It is fully licensed and is BYO wine only.
Thanks for sharing... but it's funny that how they don't allow you to make a booking.
I love this place - service is fantastic and food is delicious (very spicy) and speedy service!
Decor a bit average - jug of water on table is plastic (just like you have at home) so if you want to "Wow" someone wouldnt make a great place to take a date - however to meet up with friends is perfect
Approximate cost: $20.00
We went there on my birthday, awesome food, perfect service, beautifully designed, good choice, just loved it. I was told it is bit expensive though I found it reasonable. I love their big buddha décor. Staff are really helpful.
Approximate cost: $20
We chose this place because it came recommended to us in the Good Food Guide 2010 and it didn't disappoint. Amazing food, your able to choose different foods for different tastes and if your still unable to pick a main just let the waiter to decide for you. The wine list is extremely good also. The place is situated on the roof top on Cockle bay wharf and you can see why this is a popular place. Can be a little noisy at times, especially if you have a particularly annoying person on a another table whose voice seemed to be louder than everyone else. I swear I now know that girls whole life story. Although there are queues sometimes they tend to disappear pretty quickly.
Approximate cost: $30
I was recommended by a friend to visit Chinta Ria on Sunday night, she had been there 3 times, so I thought it was a safe option, I was counting on it given I had invited 6 other guests. Chinta Ria surpassed my expectations. The food was really good value given it is in Darling Harbour on the roof top, and the dishes were a decent size and filled us without stuffing us. 3 of us shared 3 dishes, the Mee Goreny, Nasi Goreng and Goba Goba, I will definitely be back there again - possibly sunday for lunch. I can't wait to take more friends/family there.
Approximate cost: $17
A giant buddha greets you as you walk in, can be very busy as it a popular place and can be noisy. The dishes are great tasting. Easy to get to location.
Used to be one of my favourite restaurant. However the food although still pretty grat tasting, dpes not quite have the same flavoursome quality to it compared to when it first opened. Very relaxed atmosphere.
