Tucked away inside the Nirimba Precinct, Quakers Hill, are the healing hands of Dr Jimmy Le at the Chinese Health Institute. Fortunately, Dr Le fitted me in to see him as an urgent case for acupuncture due to an extremely painful right knee – pain scale 10/10! I was desperate for pain relief, as “normal” medical treatment had not been successful – ultrasounds, x-rays did not really find anything except “water on the knee”. Waking up in the wee hours crying in pain is just awful. Anti-inflammatory treatment did not seem to relieve the extreme pain I was going through and I couldn't seem to manage those horrible crutches. After the first acupuncture treatment I felt marked relief and am really looking forward to my treatments.
Having come from a medical background, I am now convinced to use alternative medicine as a “first resort” rather than the last. Please look at the website, it is amazing and full of great information for a happy, healthy lifestyle. Thank you Dr Le.

Dr Jimmy Lee is one of the best martial arts teachers I ever had to date. The way he instructs me and my fellow students is top notch, always clear and precise.

He also differentiates what techniques are better for sparring and whats better for street defense.

If anyone's looking for an acupuncturist, or is interested in trying alternative Chinese medicine in Western Sydney, definitely go to Chinese Health Institute (CHI). The practitioner, Dr Jimmy Le has an encyclopedic knowledge in this field and listens to his patient's needs carefully. I have attended the last 3 sessions at CHI, and I must say, I feel much more healthier and energetic ever since attending acupuncture sessions.

The other great thing about Dr Jimmy Le was his ability to de-mystify Chinese medicine. I hope this review will enable more people to try out alternative methods of treatment.

Jimmy is a true professional, who is passionate about his job. He helped me to recover from a work injury. I could see a significant improvement after a couple of weeks. I would recommend his service and definitely will return in future with any health concerns I might have.

The service and treatment is perfect. A professional who knows his work . I would not hesitate to recommend him for service. His knowledge of his trade is exceptional. To have the aches in my legs gone and my sinus relieved is most savoured by me. I lead a busy life and have no time for illness. Jimmy was able to help me gain control of my Chronic sinusitis . inflammation under my eyes and forehead was reduced and breathing at night was a lot easier and snoring stopped very happy husband!

I really don't know what I'd do without this clinic. Dr Jimmy Le is truly remarkable when it comes to understanding complex situations and making them so simple. I always feel refreshed having simply talked to him. I find that Dr Le's acupuncture style is very delicate-I've never felt any pain whatsoever-which is well suited to my temperament and I always feel on top of the world afterwards. I can also highly recommend Dr Le for his thorough knowledge of martial arts and friendly sense of humour around teaching either new or more advanced students/instructors.

In my first lesson with Jimmy, I was amazed at yes, as others have mentioned about his TCM practise, his encyclopedic knowledge of techniques and the breakdown of these in regards to stages of delivery and their application in appropriate situations.

In later years, I have had the privilege of engaging in learning more advanced techniques and sparring with Jimmy and just as in the beginning, I am still amazed by his breadth of knowledge and cool, calm composure as he teaches. I always thoroughly enjoy training and come away with great insights into my own martial arts practise and teaching.
